No idea if there's an index for these sorts of things, but I can tell you right now that the Crit stat and Crit rate are different things. If you go to your profile, you'll be able to view your Crit stat right next to Attack, Defense, Balance, etc. It appears that this stat is compared to some other enemy stat in order to produce your total Crit % (you see far more crits on low level monsters because of this).

The crit on Hand armor seems to affect the Crit stat, though the Crit% Gem should affect crit rate directly.

Watched a stream as some dude hit 60, they basically had a full group all the way from 38 and just burned through quests for 30 hours straight.

Not sure I like the outlaw system anymore. Wanting to pvp just makes you a bullseye for the rest of the area. Not talking about ganking just pk. In fact the outlaw system might even promote ganking. Since the only pvp I've seen outside of dueling/GvG is higher level players camping lowbie areas, (i.e the bridge out of lumbertown) or groups of outlaws roving the countryside looking for stragglers.

Don't get me wrong I've had a few moments of genuine fun pvping people but typically its the latter situation going on.

That was half the fun in beta: strolling around the newbie areas at max level. Redtards would try to pick you off as an easy kill, only for you to completely waste them before they knew what hit them.

Protip: Launch day problems are to be expected for any online game. If you don't have the patience for it to get fixed, do you really think you have the patience for an MMO.

@outlaw: if you want PVP then declare some guild war or ask people to duel. flagging as outlaw is pretty much the universal sign for 'push my shit in, i'm a douchebag'

Also, anyone else having problems with the Thulsa BC in Allemantheia? It's not giving me credit when I kill him, and apparently I'm not the only one on Valley of Titans.

We are adding priority server queues for players who are disconnected from the game or experience a game client crash to get them back into TERA faster. To facilitate this, all PvP servers will be taken down for maintenance on Thursday, May 3, lasting from 3:00 AM to 3:30 AM PDT, followed by all PvE servers from 3:30 AM to 4:00 AM PDT.

Edit: seems a lot of people dcing as well. And it mostly happening in dungeons for me.

There actually is an achievement for being the first 60 of a given class on your server. Tragically, it wasn't name as appropriately ; ;.
