What I want to know is whether or not multiple alliances will be able to do the new instanced part of nexus. For example, 300 people kill a nexus portal: will all 300 be able to queue up, be divided up into respective 20 man alliances, and enter? Or will it be restricted to 20 lucky people per nexus portal?
From a development standpoint, one would think the former would be the way to go rather than the latter. More people get to accomplish it.
Then, for those people who may have shown up late, they can team up on another nexus portal and close it to get their buff to enter their own alliance. This keeps the remaining portals useful.
I hope I'm understanding the mechanics properly, so correct me if I'm wrong lol.
99.99% sure it will be multiple servers of "ques" mixed n matched and shoved into a random 20man instanced raid.
The fail would not have words to describe how bad a "20man only randomly selected" shoved into 1 and only 20man instance can be
Looks like someone developed a DPS meter for Tera. Too bad it has to read your screen and be networked with other people to see the comparative data...
Well... it's a start, at least.
That's awesome. I really hope they put an official one into the game though. I'm really curious which one of the DPS was the red curve. They had really consistent dps through the whole fight.
The war.
Looks like both the PvP and PvE Tier-14 gear is crafted, and some new cosmetics as well.
What is that faerie thing in a ball hanging out beside him?
Its like a bonus to people who re-sub or new to Tera. +15% or was it 30% xp gain and something else.
Wow and a near glowing faerie ball. I wonder how long it lasts.
The last time I played I re-subbed for a month, it lasted for 30 days.
If they do this in NA, it'd be tempting to let my sub expire for an hour or something then resub to get the pet.
The casuals would of gone insane if the lvling curve for NA tera was as big as what ktera was, probably be people still in the lv 40's range on their first character.
Although nexus would be alot less laggy as there would be like 1/2 reduction on who goes....
Wouldn't that just be a temporary bandaid for Nexus? As soon as the rest of the crowd eventually caught up to 60, Nexus would be as laggy as it is now.
Why not actually fix the problem instead of attempting to mask it?

YES! No more gquit during nexus! These are the highlights of the patch we are pushing for July 10th and the next one planned for late July. We will publish the July 10 patch notes next week (Monday), but this is to give you a bit more information on what will be coming soon.
For the 17.32.03 patch scheduled for July 10th, we are implementing a cool down time for quitting and rejoining a guild during Guild vs. Guild battle to keep the thrill of the battle, and the uncommon crystals will become more available in game as well.
We also have UI additions that will make it easier to keep track of the vanarch's activities through the Vanarch Activity UI, and there will be another way for vanarchs to advertise their guild by displaying the vanarch flag within their province using policy points.
Along with last week's FPS view addition, we continue add more game stats - you will be able to see the ping, play session and total played time information. We are also happy to let you know that Windows 8 will work with the July 10 patch.
For the next patch scheduled in late July, some of the bigger pieces we are working on include the berserker class balance and a change that will require the leader to call for a vote in order to change the loot settings.
We will have more information as we get closer to the patch dates and please note that these are subject to change as they are still under development and testing.![]()
