Could always the afk nexus for some T14 also! since the vendors are being upgraded to T14. Now the question is, will they be wiping your current credits at least when they do the change? Explorer's gear is decently stronger then T13 and somewhat stronger then T12 many many be running around with (also the nexus vendor T14 from credits is enchantable).
I can probably stomach that, or a half-and-half set. I'm just not to this modern tier-climbing gameplay setup of modern MMOs as being your wall to entry to not sucking at instances, rather than using 'skill'.
If they'd fix the game server kicking me during Nexus because I hit sub-1fps due to lack of options to accomodate FPS-rapage on the event I'd gladly afk it. I thought that gear was PVP-focused though and not general use?
Alot people que with pvp gear into instances >.>
also, the game won't kick you at 0-1fps trust me I've been in one where I saw a 2-4 second delay per screen slideshow (and fraps won't show lower then 0fps)
To semi fix the issue however, exit out and quickly reopen tera before nexus event, you'll get alot of fps back (I go from 1-2 to about 12-15 during the fighting). If you start getting bad fps again, exit and re-enter tera during phase 3 boss (yes you can exit out even with the 10sec countdown and login and hit the boss, before phase 3 ends) or... I know I can at least and still get credit.
Someone requested the ingredients list for the White Feldspar Set so:
Each White Feldspar Set item recipe requires 4 items.
2 Base Items: Explorer's Set and Hero's Set item of the same type. For example, to craft the White Feldspar Greatsword, you would need both Explorer's Greatsword and Hero's Greatsword.
In addition, you will also need a certain number of Explorer's Stones and Victor's Stones for each item. For weapons, it's 3 of each. For body armor, it's 2 of each. For gloves and shoes, it's 1 of each.
Victor's Stones can be purchased for 2500 BG credits each. Explorer's Stones can be purchased from Agnitor vendors, but I'm not sure of the cost.
Thanks a lot.
Agnitor vendors? I wonder if the new instances give more Agnitor rep or if we'll have a method of getting more rep from somewhere other then Nexus?
Already got kicked once for 1 frame per 8-10 seconds. Turning off other player names seemed to help a wee bit though.
Exiting and reloading TERA to the point of being back into the game is a 3 minute affair on my aging rig. ;/To semi fix the issue however, exit out and quickly reopen tera before nexus event, you'll get alot of fps back (I go from 1-2 to about 12-15 during the fighting). One hell of a programming problem though if the event causes the game to cripple to the point of my character select screen being 15fps when it's normally 70.
Heard someone say the secret class for TERA is some sort of mage in plate or something, anyone able to confirm on that? Seemed to be more then trolling which is why I ask, as if it was released info in Korea.
Fairly certain it's a troll.
A hybrid type chlorolock would be badass. Taking drops from the fail lancers would be sweet too.
Spoiler: show
They'd better figure out how to stem the flow of players bailing to go to greener pastures. I understand "we want to put in content that people actually want", but there's very little to do at the moment. I don't have a full static party, so that makes running hardmodes slightly difficult. Last, I've burned so much fucking money failing (still) to +9 even my T12 weapon, I really just don't even care to start over again with a new T13 weapon plus the masterwork bullshit. While I'll probably go level other jobs soon because I really like the battle system, I haven't bothered even logging in the last few days just out of irritation with enchanting.
My biggest beef is: Why design a game predicated on skill (the battle system) and then make it so you can't effectively advance without winning a lottery? There is zero guarantee that even if I continue to throw money at this shit, it'll ever succeed. Then I get to turn around and start all over, on 4 new pieces of gear, over and over.
I agree with you Coren, I log on now to do my dailies and run BT once to hope I win the drop lottery so I can begin the enchanting lottery, but i'm done with farming BT over and over again for no reason especially when there seems to be less and less people wanting to do shit. I made an archer and a beserker today and not sure which one I want to level just yet (archer is Elin, zerker is High Elf) but I have leveled 2 characters to 60 and 3 others to 45-50ish range.
Even with crafting i'm stuck at 320 tailoring because I dont have the pattern and there are 0 on the AH and none have been up for the past fucking 12 days straight. The lottery system right now is the biggest off putting thing to this game, but I understand the need for it because if it was easier to enchant to +9 there would be even less for people to do I guess? I mean I don't know honestly how hard the HMs are but it seems like even if you run them with full +9 T12 shit you still have to work for the kills. What I honestly hate though is how I can +6 or +7 my alt's gear like nothing in a single go with 8 pieces of fodder, but I cant even +6 my T12 chest after so many tries of throwing golds, blues, greens and whites at it.
Normals are more like easy training modes, and this first batch of four HM's are really where a normal difficulty should be. Full +9 is entirely not needed, and with the general idea that anyone attempting HM's has run through norms a few times; I have far more confidence with a full lfg pt, to the point that I have no qualms about it if others aren't on. It's a real shame people didn't start discussing them openly weeks sooner.
Not saying something doesn't need to be tweeked, but knowing how things presently are I question some peoples drive for self frustration. Unless you already posses the three stages of designs and just about everything for your MWed T13 item, I wouldn't even think about going past that last synth to ding 250.
This game just needs more stuff to do aside from dailies, gvg, dungeons that's it.
If you do Nexus away from the zerg, it's actually fun. Static and Thirsty teamed up for Granarkus Nexus zones tonight, and they went down just as fast the zerg nexuses, minus the lag.
