Err...this is sort of interesting. I don't know how "legit" this is, or how credible a CS rep is on their live chat. (They have been proven to be...misinformed in my past experiences.)

However, they seem to be "working on something" with regard to RNG in the game, but don't want to "negatively impact" the game's economy.

shit just make hardmodes drop fucking advanced powders too like they do fanesteel. 1 per mini boss then 2 off final boss then it would be all good. Those that have multiple chars that grind day in/day out. Can get 1-2 tries for free for wasting their time inside the dungeons like we do all ready.

Hell they already drop white powders which is fucking laughable because its only once a blue moon. Who ever thought to add regular alk to the loot pool is a fucking troll.

Korean originally didn't have the advanced alkahest. So the regular alkahest was always in the loot pool since Koreans could use it for 1-12. They just were too stupid to update the loot pools for NA retail when they changed the alkahest system

Doubt they would ever screw up that bad. I think they could still keep the gold sink that is enchanting by doing something like:

Each time you fail, you gain a small percentage to succeed the next time that's added to the base chance of success for your specific level. Each fail makes it stronger. This way when it takes people like me 43 weapons to get +9 > +10 the 43rd try at least has more chance to succeed rather than being on equal footing with the first try...
