Not sure if its been mentioned or if it even means much, but ebgames.com pushed TERA release date from 9/06 to 12/31.

So did IGN. As far as I know, 12/31 usually means it's coming out on that year, but the initial date/speculation got scrapped. Seen plenty of 12/31s that come out in Oct/Nov/Dec. Big patch in K-TERA come Sept. I think they wanna launch with it.

I'd expect an October release with their stupid Alpha pvp tests starting in September followed by very short CBT's and OBT's.

If you recall from an earlier announcement, there were to be two more tests before CBT starts. We had one (the CPE) back in March, and the other was said to happen in summer. I imagine now that this next test will be to open up the PvP for a broader range of testing. Perhaps we'll see this in August. Then they can take whatever info they got from that, work on it, then follow up with CBT and OBT etc.

Loving the game so far! The fact that I can take 2-3 mobs on at once for faster exp since everything is AOE makes me happy. Not sure if I have been doing it right, but I basically just kite nuke on Sorc, lol.

Only hit 21 so far ><. Tried to see how far I could get in this campaign, but I think I finally hit the "you need more than yourself" stuff cause one of the mobs was nuking me for 1k a pop and I have 5k hp.

When I was checking stuff out it seems like the way to get a horse is to buy one from the vendor at the stables outside velika? Hoping my stuff sells if so.

You get a freebie at 20. Gather 10 plants outside of the stables and turn them in. It's a yellow quest that becomes active at 20, in North Velika.

The entire game was been reduced from 1/3/5 man in open world, to strictly 1/5 man in open world, with a few % dropped from every mob. You never played before, you can't compare, but basically every single yellow quest outside of BAMs are solo material now, and you're getting EXP bonus from event. Hit 35, slacker.

Dungeon is 21 though, so you're prolly there.

Yeah it's a dungeon. All the mobs have that party monster icon by their names and they gave me like 6k exp every time I killed one, lol.

jailing system, where do they get these terrible ideas

no raids, what? how do they consider 6 dungeons pre 50 and 4 dungeons post 50 to not be raids?
are raids not a group of people entering a dungeon to kill shit, including bosses for loot?

Raids are usually considered anything >5 man....thanks to the standard set by WoW.

But they are completely uninformed, just thought I'd share though as the topic itself could get some good discussion going.

Is the stick that controls your cross-hair when you use a controller supposed to be so inverted? Up/down move side and left/right move up/down. It's freaking me out, and I am not sure how to fix it. Getting to the point of where I have enough useful skills to warrant using my ps3 controller.

I've never used a controller so I'm not sure...but I have heard that eventually you get too many skills to use a controller effectively. Sure, you can use modifiers to fit the skills onto the controller but I personally think that wouldn't work well..

I use the Razer Naga mouse with the 12 key numpad on the side and although I have only played in FGT and CPE I LOVED it. Its the perfect mouse for this game, all your skills at the end of your thumb. Once you get used to the numpad, it's epic.

oh I've never actually played WoW longer than an hour, I thought raiding was just any dungeon you took a group into to kill shit and get drops for, but if they make the definition for it, then fair enough TERA got no raids

mine's not inverted butttt I have no idea how to make it normal

really? honestly I dunno how people can hit far end hotkeys like 6~= unless they got giant hands, my fingers stop at 5 lol
but actually with controller, xbox at least you can make even more hotkeys than your skill bar actually has, skill bar has 27, you can actually key upto about 36
so unless you wanna key things like camera view reset etc you're fine, I've got a complete set of buttons combinations that I don't use
