So are other retailers getting the physical boxed CE's? I would love to own a physical copy to avoid having to download it, but if I have to get CE online, I will.

Shows the retailers of who's selling the boxed CE n the bottom. For just $20, I think the cloth map, soundtrack, compass, ETC is more than worth it. Could just be me though, but if I'm already gonna drop $60, might as well make it $80.

Cheapest to date I believe for the saving packs @ 3/6/12 for $12/10/9/month. Japan getting hosed.

Any idea when amazon will have pre orders up for CE?

Looks like you can download the installer for the game after you purchase it as well, though attempting to download all of the client files once the installer is done gives an insufficient privileges error.

I remember with Aion if you didn't get it digitally you were screwed out of early access, I don't want that to be the case with this game. ; ;

No key yet. You can download the launcher install after you purchase the game but after the launcher installs and you try to log in to start the install process you get an error stating insufficient privileges.

Grrr... Just wondering if my pre-orders at GameSop can be upgraded and I'll receIve a key. I guess I'll check now, but then I'm not sure when I'll be allowed to download the game for beta since it's so close. DECISIONS!

So in the confirmation email I read:

"We'd like to compliment you on your great taste in game editions. Your preorder entitles you to a variety of privileges and features, including:
Access to our beta events"

Does this mean I'm in the betas starting in February?!

I'm also very curious how the pre-orders going up along with beta dates have effected people's opinions of EME. I'm a FAN right now.

Doubt it. Characters get wiped after CBTs, but no word on OBT>Retail. I would assume with this head start thing, OBT characters get wiped too.

from what i read.. said you where gonna be able to keep character progess in the beta phases. No clue about after beta tho...

As others have said no. Chars will be saved through all Betas only but wiped before early start. Pretty much the case in all MMOs

man wtf! i was just at gamestop yesterday asking if they could preorder the CE. Of course they announcement is the following day... time to go back and switch from SE to CE...
