Pre-ordererers are the first to reserve server and name. About a week before game launches so we can decide on server/name.

The OP contains a hole bunch of edited bullshit we've seen before from a guy on TF quoting Knox, so I snipped the only interesting part he said here. Hope it's not all BS since he admitted to editing it.

um... if u got it from en masses you should be able to click on "my account" "my games" and download the launcher...

- As a side note TERA has a unique naming convention to allow for more unique names. You can add in two periods(not sequentially) to your name to create names like. Godfry.The.Almighty or Certain.Death. This gives a TON more variety of names.

You would have to put quotation marks around the name for /tell if there were spaces in between names.
"/tell 'name here'" vs "/tell namehere"

That's my reasoning behind it.

I can confirm the IGN Prime method. I got my beta code, registered it with my EME account and promptly canceled my IGN Prime subscription.

Strange, trying to get this to work and it isn't cooperating. I made an IGN account, entered my credit card info for the 7 day trial. Saw a "reciept" and everything, but I got nothing in email and everything is still telling me to join IGN Prime. Going to keep digging around before I enter my CC for a 2nd time...

Edit: Okay, IGN says you can only sign up for the free trial once, yet clicking on "get my Beta key" tells you to sign up for IGN Prime for free lol

i heard if ur using firefox or some other browers it messes it up. Try with Internet Explorer..

Internet explorer is just as bad. Logging into IGN works just fine, asks me to sign up for IGN Prime for free.
I can check my IGN Prime settings through Gamespy, says I have the free trial until Feb 12.
Try to log into File Front, sends me back to the Prime hub where they want you to sign up.
Click the "Get my Beta Key" on the Tera promo screen, tells me I need a Prime account. Try to sign up for free again and it says that I can only sign up once. Try to recover my password in case I'm using the wrong email(I only have 2) and IGN's password recovery system is either down (Firefox version) or Internet Explorer refuses to allow it with as many security options disabled as possible.

Edit: using IGN's support center requires yet another account and I may not get a response until my trial has ended lol.
Edit 2: Logging into IGN on IE and Firefox with the same login info gives me 2 different user names. One as the User name that made me choose, and has a confirmed Prime account thanks to gamespy(Firefox), and the other is just my email. Yeah they both have the same login info. The firefox one was created on Feb 7, IE was created today.

yeah the ign websites are a clusterfuck, took me 2 hours to get the IGNprime bullshit to work, there's IGN/IGNprime/Fileplanet/Gamnespy websites, make sure you're using the same account/email for all of them.

I used Firefox and had no problems. I never had an account with any of those sites until I signed up for IGN Prime yesterday. Hopefully it gets straightened out. Once you click the "Get My Beta Key" button you should be directed to http://www.fileplanet.com/betas/tera/ and see this:

Also make sure to cancel IGN Prime (unless you want the service) after you enter the key in your En Masse account because:

I am still waiting for the physical Collector's Edition to preorder. Hopefully several days before closed beta test #2 starts we are able to preorder the physical CE and get the code as well. February 24-26!

This is dumb, still no keys from gamestop and the only comments from EME are "We're working on it" no ETA or anything and the test is coming up fast

It's hard for them to give ETAs because they can't control how Amazon and other retailers handle things on their side.

That's why I went with the digital CE. I figured much more likely for preorder beta to work if you got it through EME. If they had sold the physical collector thought their own site I would have bought it.

Was planning on going SE Box > CE Digital upgrade. Didn't really want to put the full 60 down for Digital CE =/ but at this point I may just do that5

EU servers have been undergoing stress tests since 13h. I have now a TERA overload X.x

On another note, elin animations are awesome and I couldn't care less about the censoring.
