Well, got to play for 20 mins... was a lot of fun. Ended up high elf warrior, seemed pretty cool. After looking at all the classes, they all seem to be interesting, so I'll have to give 'em all a try come friday!

Are the IGN keys paid keys or something free? I know I signed up for some beta invite or something a hell of a long time ago but cant remember

You need to have a valid credit card or paypal to sign up for the IGN Prime and get the key, but you can cancel the sub right after you get your key with no cost

A warning: you are limited to 1 character per server and the character deletion system comes with a 7 day block (at least here in the EU side) for any character over or equal to lv5.

I would hope they removed this 7 day block for the tests, but it's unlikely.

@xtopolis The character deletion rate will be changed for the beta tests and beyond. We're looking at instantaneous, no delay period.

I know the servers aren't up but when I click to enter server my game closes. Just curious if this happens to anyone else cause I don't want this happening tomorrow after I get off work

Same thing happens to me and I played last night. In fact, the game just closed on me while I was in the char creator last night, hoping I could at least mess around with that while the server went down, but nope, when the server went down it was as if I alt f4'd, no error message or anything. So I think you should be fine

I know the manager though =/ I just don't think they are up to speed with the other stores. Reading the official forums my gamestop isn't the only one without them

only possible reason your store doesn't have them is that they added the sku early this morning. i.e. if you're on the east coast then your stores already did opening procedures then the sku was added and west coast got the updated information prior to opening. but if that's the case, east coast stores should be able to force update their POS from corporate to reflect the added sku for today.

just speculation from the time i spent as an ASM for gamestop way long ago lol (i worked at the store that had the employees rob them blind of ps3s at launch granted i quit 3 years prior to that XD ). lots of things have changed since i worked for them.
