Weird. We run around with like 150k and we're in the same beta. Play it less like FFXI and you'll get somewhere.

I think best guild name of day 1 is that spammer named Hipsdontlie advertising <Too Small To Take It All>, an all elin guild.
Where do you get large krysteel guards? Are they crafted with something? Also didn't see 'em on any of the weapon/armorsmith material vendors.
let us not forget that not all of us have been playing it for ages foxer. don't be a brp
After dicking around with the create a character, I'm done for the night. There was just too much... beautiful for my eyes to take. The big races look badass and expressive, the token hot races are fucking hot, and you can still have a lot of fun messing around with the random button to create all the duck faces we know and love.
Hell, I'm straight as a pin and even I'd fuck the male prettyboy high elfs.
I can't log in to a server.
Every time I click the server name then try to join it crashes to desktop.
If you're under level 20, and you've got a locked weapon, or piece of armor, you really don't have to worry about it, especially if it isn't a green. The gear improvement isn't very substantial and you level so fast you might as well wait for the quest reward one, which is usually around the corner. What may be to your monetary benefit is to + your weapon/armor to 2, using white vendor trash weapons/armor, as it's more cost effective then blowing 5k on a scroll, per item, but again, the gains are quite small. Leveling in K-TERA, the random drops usually let me + whatever gear was lagging behind my current level, so it's an option.
Blues drop from the raid and they're T4. Nothing you unseal or enchant now that isn't raid gear is good unless you don't plan on raiding.
That being said, anyone wanna duel/group duel?
This may be jumping the gun here, but are there any wiki with info on tera and such already? I understand BG is setting one up, but I just wanna look stuff up while playing to learn more.
Does anyone else playing tonight have a lag where the game completely freezes for like 3-4 seconds and then resumes? It wasn't often, but maybe once an hour or so. And it didn't cause problems until the last one that happened whole I was in battle and I think the clicking and keys while it was locked wigged it out and it crashed to desktop as soon as it came back.
Kinda let down though, it doesn't seem like they did much at all from the FGT before. The ui is different/better, and maybe the npc voices weren't there before, but that was all that struck me. No idea what they've been doing this whole time...
Glyphs are attainable at level 21 now. Used to be 25. Bad.
Mount is attainable at level 11 now. Used to be 20. Good!
First dungeon boss' level was decreased to make it solo friendlier(even though it states it as a 5-man level 10 dungeon still) Bad.
Lots of minions missing from the level 20 dungeon now. Bad.
World Bosses weren't changed at all. We got mowed at 16(4-man) by the Spider and didn't manage to kill it 'til 20 when we had 5 people. 20, 20, 20, 20, 16 and it was really easy, but it has always been easy with 5 18+s. Prolly same as Korea. Killable with 5 16s or 4 18s. Same shit. Good!
Deathmatch still ridiculously fun. Good!
Overall HP of mobs is the same exact thing, but give more EXP. Bad.
UI is amazing(was introduced in Korea a few months back). Good!
The AI seems "dumbed down" but that could be because I have done around 22 characters post level 20. Can't comment.
I got my code from amazon, anyone know if I can apply multiple codes to one account?
EDIT:: Well I was able to apply pre-order to the account I'm using IGN Prime code on, guess there's little point in testing multiple pre-order codes on same account.
Been running Resource Monitor (Task Manager > Performance Tab on Win 7) using Network tab my latency is coming out at 100-200ms for the most part (in town and just outside at least), haven't seen it below 100 but it sits on 100 not moving for a while at times (it heavily fluctuates at other times).
IP Addy for Serpentis server is 208.67.49.20 btw
Rig?
PC Specs? i7 920 @ 3.0 (had to lower as cooler seems to be dying ;; ) / CF HD 5770
Ran it for a bit more, I saw some 250~300ms spikes while out in the field, but for the most part it was 120-180ms
All PVE servers seem to be in the same place.
http://tera.enjin.com/forum/m/396528...enter-location
Cloud from BG says they're in Chi, which would make sense because Beef from our guild lives in Chi and talked about getting 30-70 latency. I get around 90-160 and I'm from Miami. Dunno what's up with yours, but it could just be unstable as shit servers.Did a traceroute of TERA's PvE server, and it seems that the data center is located in Chicago.

lolwhat
latency =/= PC specs
you're on serpentis right jo?
have you tried making a test character on arach?
I just made a character on serpentis, was getting 250(mostly around 290/300)-400(spikes) too and channels are green in the starter area
on arachanea earlier when the server was packed as hell and channels were red I was only getting 230-270 tops, and there's no way the servers are more packed now then it was at launch
just checked back on arach, 230-260, so might be worth just testing, I dunno why they'd be different but can't hurt to check
