This was a problem for CBT1. The fix is simple. Start your tera client and kill your internet while the en masse logo and other logo screens / cinematics are playing. Now when it is supposed to bring you to your character select list (you can skip the logo screens after killing internet) it will instead give you a connection error and a server list. Reconnect your internet then choose the new server you want to play on.

^ Tried that 3 times. Each time the game crashed as soon as I unplugged the net.

I'll play later; I'm not so obsessed as to waste this much time trying to play.

Works now, I guess a little persistence is needed.

IGN is Ulmega on Jagged Coast. Lemme know if you wanna run quests together (and team up to avoid gang rape)

Keep getting that error whenever I try to switch to the new PVP server.

Had that last EU beta. Workaround was clicking "Choose Server", hit "Refresh" and then select another server. The error occured because you were in queue on another server while trying to switch, or something.

TERA's Patcher is the biggest fucking piece of shit I've ever used. I am downloading the current patch for the 3rd time because the last two times have resulted in errors causing, for some reason the entire fucking download to just go away. I don't want to sound like an utter bitch but this is horse shit, I've never had issues with another games launcher/patcher system.

*Edit* On my 4th. Way to crap out at 94% for the second time, fuck you launcher.

tons of ppl having the same problem, friend redid the same shit over and over, had to uninstall and download everything from scratch to fix it, then even after reinstalling had errors/crashes and had to repair the client

If you swapped out any files (i.e. uncensoring Elins, for example) and try to patch, it's going to crash. 94% is the same place it crashed on me twice when I had the Elins uncensored from CBT1; as soon as I replaced the original NA Elin files, the patch went through without fail.

I tried Mystic this time. Their basic attack animation is awesome. Liked the class a lot more than my sorc, though I can't say why... I'm definitely rolling mystic on launch though.

The castle is the best zone that they had, pre-expansion. I'm hoping the new dungeon is in the same flavor as that place, just because of how well that zone was made.

Tried priest in CBT1, rolled mystic this time around. Was pretty rough as a healer until 20, when I finally got a direct heal skill. Pre-20 though I felt totally useless on Mystic dropping orbs everywhar, didn't help at ALL when our party got gang raped. Then again, I probably suck horribly at pvp. Post-20, though, totally rockin'. I only got pk'd once when I was duoing one of the fat blue guys with my lancer friend. I teleported the wrong direction, got smooshed by the BaM and then charge-shot by a random archer. Good times.

Your party is doing it wrong. Healing orbs are amazing.
