retrieving old debit card number

trying to reactivate my FFXI account and I cant remember my playonline password. I know Customer Support will reset it with the name, address, and CC# on the account.

I've long since then changed banks and dont have my old debit card anymore. I've checked old bank statements and everything and I cant for the life of me find it anyhwere.

Anybody have any ideas? Gonna try calling the bank tomorrow, but hoping for a faster/easier solution.

Yeah, I don't think any paper or digital documentation will have anything besides the last four digits of the card number or account number... if that. I went through a similar issue and never found any way around it other than going to the bank and sitting down with someone. I never actually called.

cool but you were able to retrieve it that way? guess that's what ill be doing when i go back home to work this week.

go to your old bank with a statement, they can get your old debit card number for you. I don't think it'll work over the phone, so go in person. bring lots of ID!

Beeen forever since I FFXI'd but if I remember correct they only ask for the last 4 of the card.

lol yea i have the last 4 of my credit card and was gonna try that then my mother found an old bank statement that shows it being on my debit card. im gonna have to go into the bank on wed and try to get it back, been so long that i couldnt find any purchases that i made with it.

found a newegg order that i placed using it, but it has all the numbers starred out. oh well guess it'll have to wait until wed.

anything else I should know before calling them? name/address/date i deactivated/and ill get the credit card info, thats not a problem but do they want registration codes too? cuz those are long gone by now lol
