Hard to say. You've got tradeoffs either way - the Sony has Sony's image processing, which tends to be good. It has an LED backlight, for what that's worth, which at that price point is basically "says LED on the box". The Sanyo has 120Hz refresh and is a larger screen.

Arguably, they're only the same price because one is a Sony and the other is not. I'd look at them in-store and see which you prefer, if you really must buy one from Wal Mart. IMO, the selection they have sucks, and for that general price range I'd just go look elsewhere. This maybe.

Ok another question. I want to mount the tv on the wallinstead of using a entertainment center type thing. What's the best way to do this and still have my satalite, 360, ps3 and surround sound hooked up to it while looking as clean as possible(wires not running everywhere)

no matter how it looks in the store, its going to look bigger in your room, as it isnt in a giant warehouse building next to tons of other tvs. if its sony vs sanyo, get the sony even if its a smaller screen.

just run the wires through a small hole you drill in the wall right below the mounting brackets, no?

I have the older model to these. Best TV I have had. If you are interested in 3D also Plasma is the way to go
