There isn't that much lost if you look at it closely. The folds and wrinkles are kept intact, you lose some colour and and some wavey partitions. Big deal. The crotch doesn't make the majority of the costume nor does it hold the most intricate details or patterns, but if that's the most important part...

There's a pretty stark difference between the two. The one on the left works together much better then the right one. While the left one looks like it's part of the outfit, the right one looks like someone took body paint and just filled in the area there. Shit it would have been fine if they had converted the panties from the left into boyshorts on the right with the same frill work, etc etc. Instead of going "OMG WE CANT SHOW THE STOMACH OR THE FBI WILL BE ALL OVER US WITH CHRIS HANSEN".

My Example 2 is a exactly what I was getting at in my analysis, though I'm still okay with a color fitting mid-section fill in. Lazy, piss poor artwork pisses me off, and that's what the Current model has in spades.

Some low level KRs decided to make a guild called "10sec" named after the PVP guild "5sec", took their guild icon and put on a show for everyone in town. Update turned the 5 second pk wait to a 10 second wait.
(Their names are 10second 100second and 1000second)

The detail on the bottom ties in with the top half and makes the outfit. My problem isn't necessarily the change to shorts, it's with the body suit/lack of detail from the original skin. You're blind if you can't see the lack of effort they apparently didn't put into this to make it a decent replacement.

And for the people who are playing Elins walking around with that skin, it's a pretty noticeable, and disappointing change.

I'm not saying they couldn't have done better (hell, I could've done better myself), but what you see right now is hardly an unholy abomination. People making mountains out of mole hills.

I'm looking at the examples and it's hardly a stark difference. The grey had purple hues which ties in the deep purple elsewhere, the material is consistent and perhaps the BIGGEST CRIME OF ALL, is that the crotch area is far more subtle than before.

The original panties/crotch colour scheme would work more if the purple and gold switched places and they dialed down the saturation a bit. As it stands I like the colour scheme of the new style better, though it could use more purple. Ultimately, all the body/crotch needs is a gold trim or something like the rest.

The thing I like most about the costume is the chest piece and coat tails. But hey, with .dat mods you can more or less change everything.

I don't dress for good looks. I dress for stats; I couldn't care less if the resulting outfit equals fashion suicide. Gold trim or not; if the stats suck, the outfit sucks.

In Tera "Kelsyke" is considered the Top boss in the game atm. He is a big ass Dragon.

Anyways here is Lunar fighting Kelsyke on heroic mode, this is quite the fight to watch. They even got his claw at the end.

Wow awesome video from J2W Studio! Thanks for the upload Bombur. These huge fights I am seeing from TERA and Guild Wars 2 simply look breath taking, though TERA's seems a bit more hectic all around. Is Lunar the first to defeat this boss? I tried checking for other videos on Youtube and Google with the search word "Kelsyke" but only his came up. By the way Bombur, I sort of remember seeing this boss in a cut scene/trailer a couple of months ago jumping down from part of a cliff or tower, is he the last boss from the main story arc? If he is that is amazing, if not then it's still amazing!

These fights don't compare to the wicked Dodo brawls in FFXIV though... Should I wait on the 5 second timer on my Archer and use a super special move or wait to punch it directly on the face with a downward motion! Oh the endless options...

You'll find more tera.inven.co.kr. Name isn't "Kelsyke", so that doesn't help. Try searching for "Kelsa".

And no, there are a few other groups that can clear Kelsa on senior. But not many.

Sad that FFXIV is still popular enough to want to compare it to. I guess it's the forums.

And nah, that video was just taken a few days ago, but he's the/one of the only ones who makes videos through a Lancer perspective.

Also, Kelsa's the last boss as of now, but the main bad guys here are the Argons, so it seems Kelsa is just a speed bump by the time the real level cap comes out.
