May I ask what your system specs are and what your get as a typical FPS in combat?

core i7 2.66ghz, radeon HD 4890, 6g ram

FPS really depends on the area, most of my settings are at max in CCC and in game (except half on shadow detail/distance/Anisotropic filtering off), typically it'd be 40-60fps
there's maybe 1 or 2 rooms where I'd dip below that in dungeons, because of the detail of the room/sorcerer using ice storm/minions popping, and if you play a healing class it's near impossible to aim heals with bad FPS

the world itself is fine though, I never have bad FPS outside... unless you count around AH's where there's a ton of people

Ok great. Thanks for the info. I have been watching some healer videos and it seemed fps and ping is really important to do well in this game.

I have an i5 2500K and a GTX 570 HD. I might need to get a second one for SLI, but it sounds like I can handle the game without over clocking.

Your screenshots look gorgeous and I was really hoping I could play at that level with good fps.

TERA isn't working with with XF or SLI right now. I don't even think it's sharing load. UE3 capping you at DX9 and believe it or not, there's no AA/AF there either, so your PC should blow the game up pretty easily, even if you go out of your way to force AA through 4rd party.

I finally got my XF working actually but yea that's strictly sharing, it didn't improve anything lol

they recently added in AA support though at around the same time I took that last pic, I thought AF support was there for awhile? but I guess it came at the same time as the AA

my FPS improved A TON since they added in AF though, helps so much in dungeons, can do 2 sorc icestorms np for the most part w/o lowering quality

Nah, filtering and AA were forced off. So that's why the game looks better now, I thought it was an entire texture patch. lol

that was -my- first try, I was with a few guild members/randoms, the guild members had done it before so they knew what they were doing, I think the randoms probably had done it as well by the looks of it
we only had the one death at the start coz of the slayer glitching behind the barricade lol, for the most part I knew those mob patterns already from other dungeons/fighting BAM's

the run took about 35min, we skipped all the fodder mobs though and our party was pretty geared (slayer/sorc with top weapons) not sure about the archer

these days most dungeons take about 25min-1hour, unless you're wiping

Yeah, which doesn't surprise me at all. They're out there, only have seen them on KR sites though and that was a bit ago.

One of the biggest things I miss about Tera oddly enough, is the music. So epic. One of the greatest OSTs in a game Ive heard imo.
