I'm stuck on this part. All the IP addresses I have tried on this site, don't get me through. Is there an up-to-date guide I can use? Currently following the one on page 24 or 25 of this thread. =/

I used the very last one on that page and it's working for me. Very, very slow.. but working. But now I have to update IE because it's out of date and won't load the Hangame TERA page correctly. I normally don't use IE so I don't bother updating it. Getting there! *crosses fingers*

I hope you guys can make it in while you can, god I wish there was another way I could play this without paying $30-40.

The 2nd work one works for me everytime.. usually slow but you switch your proxy back once gameguard loads up and no more slow.

Well crap. Not sure what's wrong now. Trying to login on the tera.hangame site and I keep getting some pop up and I'm unable to login to download the game. I can't even copy the error message to paste it and try and figure out what it's saying. All I see is something about "ID" in it. I'm using the ID and password that I used to fill out the earlier Registration. Hmph.

Yep. I'm even looking at the email with my account information. Although it doesn't show me my password, it shows all the other stuff that I entered. I have two emails from Hangame in my inbox.

I was getting the same errors at first, I had to make a completely new account. Just keep trying, I know the process completely blows but it's free and worth it once you see it boot up.

I tried to do the password recovery thing to see if resetting it would help. Apparently you need a mobile phone or something for it.. so that failed. Ah well.. I'll start over later when I have more time again. ><

Trying to do the JP beta for TERA, I get to this site : http://static.hangame.co.jp/hangame/...rsion=2,0,26,0

It shows how to download the beta file using IE, but..I dont get any file downloading at all, just 2 pictures, 1 clicking the download link from the IE tab and another picture showing how to save/run the file. Any help on this?

I can get to the download link but it asks me to instal an activex control. I confirm, give the site permission to instal and then nothing.

That is the most important port I forgot to mention, IE is a must. When I re-registered I even made sure it was on IE, not sure if that even made a difference but it finally worked.

Yeah i'm using IE, followed all the steps to the letter including JP Proxy and what not.

Yup using IE to do all this stuff... had to update IE and java just to get the jp tera site to load properly. but now i'm stuck on the log-in on that page too lol. might try making another log-in, but do i need to use a different email address? (probably just use a different for the sake trying to decipher error messages...) going to keep trying.

::Update:: dont know what happened but after i made a second account it let me log in with the first. trying to download this activeX that it requires i guess.

Used a hotmail address this time and it's working fine. Took several reloads of the captcha, and I do mean several, to find one I could get. Trying to download the game now and it appears I'm already logged into the TERA site. Here goes download.

And it seems I can't get the download to go. It takes me to the page that shows you what to do if your browser stops the download (to click the little notification and allow it, etc) but nothing comes up.

I -think- I might have gotten somewhere. After many attempts of clicking I eventually got to a User Agreement page that I accepted. It took me back to the download page eventually, but I seem to have -something- downloading now. It's a little progress bar in the middle of my screen that I can't move.

Woohooo, I see a patcher! Took about a half an hour of endless reclicking, but I got there.

Says I need the "Hangame GamePlugin" for ActiveX but it refuses to download after i hit install... anyone else experience this? Or know of a work around?

When you click on the Download thing and it takes you to the page showing you how to accept the download if your browser is blocked, there should be a small little pop up at the bottom middle of the page. Click on that to install. It may take a few reloads of the page for it to come it, and it may take a few tries of installing it, but eventually it should work. Atleast that's how it worked for me after a while. (Sorry to sound some what repetitive, just wanted to go through it exactly as it worked for me.)

I'm currently downloading the game files onto my system. A little patcher/download window is up and going slow, but getting there. I'm at 18% currently.
