^ Horse with the flaming feet is pretty close though.
Horse with flaming feet reminds me more of Nitemare, just lacking some flames.

Exactly, I want LIGHTENING, not flames
Nice touch that they added a flaming hoof trail^^
Some electrified feet on the Frost Lion and I'm set.

Lost it at the Thundermare.
Had a deck built around them at one point
Had a deck built around Command Knights- wait, wrong game.
Haven't seen this posted around here yet. Silly little elin maker flash thingy :O
Elin Maker
CBT2 in EU, cap 27 and everyone spamming Sinestral Manor for gold gear. We decided our blue drops were enough and went into uncharted territory to see what the world of TERA offered.
First came the Firmlisks, which are pretty awesome mobs for the level. Not too hard, but not pushovers either. After that, we went exploring further.
And we reached Windurst! I mean, Pora Elinu. All similarities are just coincidence!

Went to check the open dungeon there, but didn't get too far. Then we decided to go south, here:

and eventualy reached the mines to the north of the main town. I must say, this dungeon was pretty cool. Big and full of details. I'm glad we visited before next CBT, because I expect people swarming the place. Finished most of the quests there ready to claim next CBT!

Found a fun elite bam to play with too! It's in black and white because, well, I just couldn't take the heat I guess.

And finaly, a visit to the coast line!

Went also to the Dark Cathedral, as deep as we could till repops ended up swarming us and killing us. Aparently, to get some good challenge from normal mobs you need to fight them being about 8 or more levels above you. The fights are actualy pretty interesting at this point because the monsters still take heavy damage but don't die in a single combo, while you also take heavy damage but it's not lethal.
We decided it was something we'll try next CBT (that is, going to a very high level dungeon). It's a different experience than killing bams, as a single bam fight can take several minutes and it's mostly a repetition of tactics and counter tactics, while fighting normal mobs of higher level feels like an old school MMO again.
Anyway, as one can see on the SS, TERA has some amazing places to visit.
Very nice photos. Would love to see that tentacle laden BAM up close and see what it does.
An extra image of it, more detailed:

BAM was lv30. We took it to 90%ish before I was destroyed by some crazy 360º AoE that induced poison. Not funny
Friend took it till about 50% before messing up and getting one shot nuked for 7k dmg. He said that the monster was quite mage friendly and was relatively easy to grab a routine on it. Ofcourse, one bad mistake and it was over.
Hot, I've seen a video of that thing. Maybe later in a hard mode or something. It was one of the videos I watched to see how warriors tank hard modes. The body flips over and shit like that. It's a very cool mob. Looking forward to having my sorcerer go to town on it (along with friends of course).
Only level 30? Man, I wish we'd found that thing, coulda had some fun~![]()
The whole mine area seems to be oriented for lv26-28, making it a cool alternate site to Poporia. Everyone was caught on the SM spam craze however, so this place was devoid of people. I think many people are going to miss it on next CBT.
That BAM was the highest level thing in the area, but there were other bams of the same type as the SM boss that were level 27-28, which were actualy harder than this, at lest for me.
Another fun note: we went to fight one of the kumas in the south west desert, which I think are like lv38, and after about a minute of hitting it the thing was still at 100% HP
Figures. It didn't seem to hard to predict, but as a melee I got caught up on the fliping AoE you say because, well, I decided that it was going to do some directional attack and I was safe behind it. Bad call, seems
Friend messed up on a leap on the silliest of moves. It does a circle attack and he was just leaping out of it every time, but this time his leap was on cooldown and he didn't notice. Kaboom, full HP bar away :3
Problem is rolling and dodging is so damn fun, people seem to just do it cuz it looks cool, and every now and then, you realize you should have saved it. I was like that all the time on my War. =(
