Jeez those weapons look awesome. Love the one lancer weapon, that looks more sword&board rather than lance.

Kind of wondering about that. Are the scales off? I assume the lance weapons would have to be much longer than the other weapons.

It's prolly their resting size, since their lances do enlarge as they engage.

yea don't pay attention to sizing, I only zoomed out so the weapon would fit on screen, pretty sure they also scale based on race too... they are in engaged mode in those pics though

From what you guys know, if I get one of these weapons, then someday get a better weapon. Would I be able to skin the new weapon to look like one of these sets? Reason I ask is because I don't like the lance look, but those sword and board looks seem pretty awesome. So if I could get one and keep a sword look even if I upgrade to a better "lance" type, I'd be much more likely to play a lancer.

these are some of the nice ones I found though, ignore the shitty crystal effect on them, some dats show like that for some reason and I dunno how to fix it

Their is a remodel feature in the game. It'll say on the weapon if you can remodel it or not. So if you have an old piece that you really like the look of, and your new better gear can be remodeled, you can do it at the npc.

basically you can change the appearance of ANY item, but you can only use certain items as the new skin, anything crafted you can use as a skin

I think the level 50 dungeon items are the same model as crafted? so you can get those(not the dungeon item itself, but the skin is available), they're just different colours, currently there wasn't any skins for the 58 dungeon models so the only way to have those models were to actually have the weapon itself, with these new models though they might allow us to get the 58 dungeon models as skins eventually

it seemed like they didn't want the top current items to be used as skins though based on how they did it, so it's possible if they added higher tier weapons later that they'd make the obsolete weapons usable as skins(if that makes sense)

edit; just realized you said sword, if those are event items (which is what they're listed as) I wouldn't expect them to be usable as skins, or skins made available anytime soon, I'd imagine they would want to keep them as event only

no clue, since those were only just added to the dats and prior to that there's been really no event items, sure there's been events but it's mostly just treasure box hunts/items being sent to your delivery box like potions/xp items etc

so if they do those, that'll actually be the first real event items they've done

about the darkness/brightness of game recordings.

Most likely, the person doing the recording has their desktop drk but notice it.
Most LCD's come with something like "magiccolor, magicbright" etc that auto adjust contract/brightness/color on the fly as things on your desktop change (can usually find it on your monitor config) and its usually set to default on.

also... can't wait for this weekend, it can't come any faster O_o

Love the Year of the Dragon seasonal set. I love the mystic and sorcerer from the epic set. I wonder why Warrior got the wrench! I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with the initial complaints and/or tweaks it needed to go through.
