TERA: Online - Media

I'm running TERA on a:
AMD Phenom X4 955 @ 3.6ghz
4GB 1600 DDR3 RAM
Sapphire Radeon 5830 @ Stock
Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
32" 720P 60hz TV (lulz)

...and it's been playing TERA around 45fps for the most part. It drops to 25fps when I'm by the broker in Velika or in Channel 1 outside CR. Of course, it helps that the resolution I'm playing on is 1366x768. With that said, I plan to pick up some RAM, a Nvidia 680 (when the 685 comes out) and 2 (or 3; EYEFINITY?!) Dell U2312HM's in the near future.

Fun fact: Inside CR, if you pull ALL the scorpions in the room on the left side... I think even the best rig will drop down to 5-10fps... It's horrible.

Hate. The only gold plate drop I saw were boots and they went to the worst Lancer I've ever grouped with. Also never saw that damn axe drop or on the Auction House, QQ. :/

Is that bad? I think I put pucker up a bit to what I thought looked right from a profile view. Just enough to make it so they weren't a flat line from nose to chin. I didn't like how wide their mouths were, so I had to put them my way. Which is small and luscious... I guess. >>;

I probably run the game higher than I should for my computer specs, but I just couldn't stand the game looking like crap. I've been running the game on preset 4. I get a little stutter here and there, but I put up with it. This last Beta was pretty bad in terms of lock ups and stuttering, but it seems a few people were having issues as well. Maybe that's why I have that texture rendering issue. It's just too much and my computer gives up after a while, lol. My computer itself is a good 6-7 years old. Bought a new video card last year to replace my old Nvidia 7600.

Windows 7 Home 32-bit (wish I had 64, upgraded from Vista 32-bit that was on the computer)
AMD Athlon 64 x2 Dual Core 5600+ 2.80GHz
3G RAM (Needs an upgrade.. but I can't seem to find out what type it is. Guess I'll have to check the actual sticks to find out.)

As for golds, I ended with an awesome gold Lance that had 8% Haste at +3 and gold gloves I +3'd as well. Really wish I could have gotten a gold chest plate as I would have liked to have seen what it was for Elin. One did drop, but I wasn't with for that run as I was leveling my Mystic. Mio was there on his Lancer, but Trogdorr won it so I couldn't even see it on Mio. (But grats on the chest!)

Got the axe on my 13th run and body on the 19th. Bought the gloves off the Broker for... 1.3m? Something like that. Was in a run with the guild when the feet dropped and Mio won the lot. He gave them to me (thanks Mio) and I spent most of Sunday night (...and the rest of my gold) +6'ing them.

I'm highly doubtful the cap will increase; CBT5 and OBT will more than likely remain at 38cap, because anything over 38 would involve going to the other continent and that's been completely locked off since day one, unlike the other areas (for example, being able to get into Castanica in CBT1 despite being a Lv30+ area.)

Grats on the boots! Keep at it with the weapon; it'll +6 eventually. I'm also banking on the cap staying at 38... Otherwise, I kinda screwed myself gold-wise.

I don't have a lot of progress tokens left, but I'll probably be farming them in CBT5 if the cap doesn't go up. I'd be happy to help you (and the rest of the guild) plus up your gear. One thing I've noticed with enchanting from +3 to +6 is that although the difference is huge between using whites and greens, the difference between greens and blues seem to be pretty negligible. I got my last +1s for body and hands with greens after failing horribly with blues. In fact, I've deleveled from +5 more with blues than I have with greens.

I hope no one has posted this before. It is a guide to the guild leveling system with an introduction to items you gain access to and the guild housing system.



Seems the quests are varied enough that you can essentially grind for tokens while you are doing other parallel stuff like grinding for golds and enchanting materials.

I did a few of these, while I leveled, and the target mobs were always part of a normal quest, so you were killing two birds, with one stone. Also, the normal mob ones were auto-repeat, as I noticed I would go 11/10, so you could just grind the mobs for a bit more exp and help level your guild.

Also, there are typically 2 or 3 guild quests for mobs in the instances, so you can rack up guild tokens that way too. I'm pretty sure repeatables stack up to 10x the fulfillment requirement.

I'm (Fanderay) wearing the gold chest in this, the center doesn't color with dye.. only the armbands.

Ooooh, thank you for pointing out the update to that site.

The cloth armor isn't looking as good on the model as it did in just the render of the armor. It puffs out at such an odd spot because they want to keep it short and showing off the panties, so it makes it look... weird. This one makes it look like she's a huge balloon right below her non-existent boobs. Which it wouldn't look bad if it were just lowered so that the poof would be at her hips, but no we can't have that. We NEED to see panties! I figured it would look as weird as I thought it was going to. Sad face.

I'm actually liking the plate much better on the model now that I see it. Before I prefered the cloth over the plate, but I think I've flipped and prefer the plate over the cloth now.

To be honest I actually like the newest leather for Elin as well. Don't think I cared for any of the leather gear prior to these updates, but this last one is pretty neat.

Looking through Aman female and didn't see anything that stood out until I got to cloth. This is just awesome. Makes me want to roll an Aman caster just for this.

Also.. I see entirely to much pink in that second screenshot. (But thanks for showing. I looked it up on the site mentioned. It seems there's a set inbetween the one I had and that one. Wonder where that was from.)

Jeez, seeing the comparisons between the two is pretty awesome, not sure I've seen something like that before. Makes me excited for the results of stacking attack speed in the future.
