In some costume thread, Knoxxer cryptically chimed in with "Winter is coming." and that was it. Wouldn't rule it out since EME did say we were getting new costumes with f2p and it doesn't seem like the maid/ski outfits are going to be coming in Feb either.

I see both the maid outfit and gothic lolita-esque outfit made it into KTERA according to that blog. Do you get both emotes with each dress, or just one per? I'm guessing both but the wording makes it hard to decipher.

/sigh It was about $100 we spent on boxes and still didn't get it, so I sold a number of the powders/scrolls and bought one off the broker for 20k gold. This is the "Classic" maid, the "Layered" maid outfit was about 50k gold and I don't think I'll be able to get that much more by selling stuff... >.>

Emote menu is nice, reminds me of people who used to macro dances in FFXI ^^

edit: Just logged in and I don't have that new UI with emote stuff, my husband says it looks like they are adding it next week (after you can no longer buy the maid costume from the cash shop).

God I hope not. It was bad enough in games like Perfect World where you got a random color of the "fashion" item you paid real money for. By random color I mean, neon freaking green, pink, yellow, orange, fuchsia etc. Spending 100$ (like Machaa has given us a fine example of) just to get it by random chance out of a grab bag is NOT acceptable. I hope "Grab Bags" just stick to in game items such as the alkahest/scrolls/etc that they mentioned being put in the Cash Shop as well as having in game ways to obtain for those not willing to spend money. Maybe toss in a low chance to get some fashion item as well, but have the fashion items themselves be purchasable for a designated price.

Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

my rule of thumb on vanity items is "if i dont want it right now ill just wait till theres 2 many on the AH to sell offer somebody a stupid lowball price and get it for like 70% off ah price"
when people end up flooding the market just lowball the fuck out of them. Eventually somebodys gonna crack
