This game can't come out soon enough. :D Has much been revealed about what the full game will be like? Haven't heard much about it other than it's a rhythm game like Elite Beat Agents & Taiko no Tatsujin.

Assuming the 'Lv.' under the character portrait isn't a complete waste of space there will probably be EXP bonuses that work like money in guitar hero/rock band games for unlocks, new characters, etc. I wouldn't mind a jukebox mode unlock, for example.

I'm really hoping there's multiple unlockable characters from each title or something. I want Fran/Balthier/Aphmau/Prishe/Rikku/Wakka/Cid/etc.

Prishe already has a chibi version in Duodecim so she could easily be an unlockable. The same applies for any hero introduced in Duodecim as well.

it does look rather interesting tho.. but seeing as I'm not going to waste money on a 3DS.. gonna have to give this a miss unless its ported to like iPhone or Vita or something

When I first entered this thread all I got was a serious case of WTF, but after seeing a few of the vids I think I can see how this might be fun. Gonna need SE to have a one night stand with Android for me to play it though, unless I find a 3DS on the sidewalk or something.

Release Date Set for Theatrhythm Final Fantasy

Square Enix announced today a final release date of February 16 for Theatrhythm Final Fantasy. The rhythm Final Fantasy game will be priced ¥6,090.
