Youtube not playing anything

For some reason youtube is crapping on me. No video will load, the screen where the video should be is all black. I can do everything else, game, watch streams, watch TV shows... Just no youtube.

Help plz.

The same thing happened to me last night but was fine earlier today. It's happening again, oddly enough after seeing this thread. You're not alone!

Ok it must be youtube then that's odd. No message or anything and the rest of the website is up and running, I can see thumbnails and all.

Have you tried temporarily switching to another browser?

Has to be youtube. It's happening to me too and I was just watching videos like 30mins ago on it.

Ok so weirdly enough, if I add an s at the http adress, the video will play as normal.

exemple:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V87Wp4lXlPg (this is black box)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V87Wp4lXlPg (this is working video)

this is happening to me too. are you guys using firefox with ad-block? i think it has something to do with the ads on youtube videos.

Have adblock, no problems with anything loading.

I had this problem with chrome (didn't happen on FF or in incognito mode), turns out clearing cache fixed it for me.
