Thanks for the Bash damages. Bash damage is entirely consistent, right? Tbqh, that seems like a pretty silly update.
** Actually, it scales based on something else too. My 90 THF/29 PLD Shield Bashed with Airy Buckler for 10 damage in Sauro.

If AF3+2 gloves have any effect on Enmity Douse in any way, they do an excellent job of hiding it.

Also, I'm unable to get any kind of an Acc bonus out of Conspirator. Found a monster's exact Evasion, had my THF take it to 30% and acted on it and the THF. THF did Conspirator and it rated the exact same Acc. It's either a hit rate bonus that doesn't show up in /check, glitched, a mistranslation, or something else.

How would it affect anything? Would it let me keep some of my enmity? Enmity Douse is as "total" a hate reset as any other JA like that. I just don't see how it could affect Enmity even if it wanted to.

Shield related stuff:

103 Shield Skill, 90THF/39PLD
Tatami Shield -> 35 damage (Size 4)
Tariqua -1 -> 15 damage (Size 2, 1 DEF)
Oak Shield -> 15 damage (Size 2, 6 DEF)
Frost Shield -> 15 damage (Size 2, 5 DEF)
Airy Buckler -> 10 damage (Size 1, 17 DEF)
Light Buckler -> 10 damage (Size 1, 6 DEF, +5 Shield Skill)

All of your bashes do about 2.5 times as much damage as mine, but I know you have more than 250 Shield Skill and you don't have 2.5 times more of anything else. Based on the above, I think we can rule out Shield Defense as a possible variable. There's something to it other than "Size" though, and it may just be Paladin Level. It would be both amusing and sad if it capped out at level 75 (2.5*29~=75) Skill is still a possibility, but any relationship dependent on it would need a slope change at some point. Do you mind bashing stuff on WAR/PLD so we can get a third data set?

All-in-all, it's totally irrelevant because shield damage doesn't affect the enmity generated by Shield Bash still. There was no real reason for them to make this change besides some aesthetics that they messed up when they tossed Aegis and Ochain in with the Bucklers.

Ah, I was measuring the Acc with my Red Mage (who didn't have hate) using similar conditions that got me the 20 Subtle Blow number that's on the Conspirator pages now. I built hate with my THF mule, then did an action with my RDM mule (but didn't get hate), and then used Conspirator with the THF mule. Then I measured Accuracy with Red Mage and couldn't find a difference.

dasva ur right without body itself when u use cons it doesnt effect person with hate at all with body it effects them as well as if they have 0 hate towards the mob.

need to lvl bst up a bit more before ill be able to charm much that will live through a few hits lol.

doesnt need to be on full time tested today with a nin buddy on a sea mnk mob in vunk abys. its like the relic feet for war as a example its pop on use JA take off ur golden.
