Crafting has never really changed in my opinion. Skill it if you enjoy the process, but to actually make the gil back that you spent getting to 100 will take a lot of dedicated hours.

I just did a fresh install of windows xp home on an old machine, installed ffxi from steam, and installed windower, and when I try to start windower, it says "Final Fantasy XI is not installed, or your registry is corrupt". Has anyone seen this before?

Proper recast timing of enlight? i.e. is there some inflection point at which it becomes beneficial to recast? Or is it even worth using?

need to run the game one time from steam so it installs registry settings before running windower iirc.

Can check fab from bismacks ffxiah. Replace after body with your armadaberk and you should be fine.

Thanks. I had seen that on the windower site but I was trying to update. Turns out this crappy desktop can't run ffxi. Radeon 7000, needs a Radeon 9000 minimum. I couldn't run the ffxi config tool (came up blank), which (I'm assuming) is why windower can't hook because the registry values haven't been written to yet. 1.5 hours till the local computer store opens.

what's the best way to skill up my pup's magic to 90? after 90 i know i can do the afflictor trick in buaduex(sp) but is there a quick easy way to skill up magic other than that?
