Counter with war/mnk is another story but its very easy to check this.
With 50% counter and 50% ODD with GH,RR,blood rage, claymore grip, af3+2head you should have 100% crit rate and have ODD on every other counter so it will be very noticeable.

It's 60% counter if you are using GH. Trait+counterstance and GH.

Where do people normally go for soloing jobs past 37? I know Qufim is good until then but I was looking to get WAR from 37-50 and DNC from 30-50. Any help on locations to xp would be appreciated as I doubt I'd be able to abyssea leech either of them all the way up. Thanks!

I installed XI View 1.08 and I like everything except for the font. I can't read names even from 8 yalms away and LS list makes my eyes hurt. Is there a certain .dat that houses all the fonts that I can replace with the original but keep the other modifications?

The dat that holds the font for player names is the same dat that has all the fancy menus and cursors. I think the zip file contains a couple of font variations, or you could check the XI view thread on windower forums, people post their homemade fonts there.


now my question:

Which is the best ToAU ring to pick these days? I play SCH 99% of the time but the MACC ring looks super meh (refresh during assaults might be nice, since they're revamping ToAU soonish), but the other options don't look worth using at all either.

No and yes.

It gives you +900 mab and I've tested dmg increases even with another 150ish in gear/atma/traits/drinks on top of brew. However gains from more MAB are severely diminished due to that, hence why setting MAB atmas generally isn't a good idea with brew.

Flash nova is a really poor brew ws partly because there isn't even a decent 2nd atma for it. Not to mention no stat comparison factor low ftp... Doing the math you'd be lucky to break 30k on trash mobs.

Is it faster to farm Glavoid KI thru forced pop NM or by cleaving?
I personally feel that it is faster thru forced pop NM as it is quite hard to gain lights in tahrongi. However my ls mate beg to differ.
What do you guys think?

Depends, I do a mix of both tbh. Crowded and not winning claims = time to cleave, if no one there, then ya, split into 2 groups, do gnat/sw and other one get pops for cock/manti.

Do remember, whatever you do, you still need time, hence a fair bit of cleaving and lights is necessary.(Unless you have ridiculous amount of stone and just want to burn stones, but that still is dependent on those NMs being available) Just use the NMs to build light then you have best of both worlds.

After a handful of farming sessions I'd say it's not worth Amber farming if you're ONLY after Glavoid and don't care about Chloris pops. It also depends how much time you have per session and if you need ppl to warp and change jobs to do trigger NM's and Glav. The longer you can stay in the zone and benefit from the built up lights, the more worthwhile AoE farming becomes. I'd also take a second look at AoE farming if your friends still have (sub)jobs they want to level.
