where do the "higher level version" pop? i been killin near the ??? for boss

Not sure in Jeuno but in Xarcabard for example there are VT demons in the North which drop pop items but in the south you find dc/em mobs which don't seem to. Just scout around a bit and go for the higher level ones, they're more likely to drop. Sorry I can't be more specific for Jeuno itself, but we had the same thing in Xarc. Just assumed everything was the same and dropped everything only to find out that the mob levels vary widely and only the tougher mobs drop the pop items.

2 melees that can SC, a BLM and 2 WHM, all you need for a 18 minutes kill, don't silence it, the nukes are a joke and it boosts its regen.

Honestly for even an experienced group that's pushing it. SC+ MB is the way forward but I'd go with 3 GOOD BLMs, a couple of melee who can SC (self is a bonus) often, a healer and some decent refresh/ballad.

We've done tons of these and we went recently to finish BBs and we struggled with 2 BLMs and ended up bringing a third.

Has it been confirmed that TH can upgrade during WS and just not appear in the log? Wiki says it can and I thought I recently read something about someone testing this but I'm not sure. Should be "somewhat" easy to test over the course of a long fight. If you see TH7 in the log, WS a couple times, and see TH9+ later as if it skipped a level, then that should be enough to confirm as long as there is only 1 THF in the party. I would test but PS2 limitations and I couldn't post chatlogs to prove/debunk anyway.

I am convinced that the 'invisible procs' that are supposedly happening on WS are in fact caused by gear swaps during melee attacks. When you gear swap during a melee round the additional effects on the attacks will NOT show in the log, including TH procs.

I am convinced that the 'invisible procs' that are supposedly happening on WS are in fact caused by gear swaps during melee attacks. When you gear swap during a melee round the additional effects on the attacks will NOT show in the log, including TH procs.

So, they should show up if you don't gear swap? Just for testing purposes, someone could go WS without switching gear and it should say:

"XXX uses Evisceration."
"The Glavoid takes 2789 points of damage."
"Additonal effect: The Glavoid's Treasure Hunter effectiveness increases to 8."

I don't think I've ever seen that. I've waited behind a mob, Glavoid for example, in WS gear, while turned waiting for TP move, WS then ran before changing back to TP gear so I don't lag and have never seen it proc on WS. Small sample size, etc.

Not at all. What I'm trying to say is that they don't proc on WS at all, and the reason people miss the proc is a lot the time with haste/marches etc you are getting melee attack rounds in during your gear swap to and from WS gear or to and from MDT gear, evasion gear, shadow casting gear, w/e gear swaps you may have. Since those melee rounds are occuring during the swaps, the TH procs are prevented from hitting the chat log.

Guy on the official forum made a good point tho. Sleep bolts/Bloody bolts will proc on ranged WS, I was unaware of this and just tested it out myself. However, the times I've used blinkmenot while on THF I have never personally witnessed anything that could be construed as a TH proc on a WS.

I read that VNM position can't be updated "live" anymore, but can ApRadar Pro tell you which VNM you're about to pop (ie Urd or Skuld) once you're close?

stormsoul is only adding macc, so yes it will. Pretty sure zodiac ring beats out everything for QD.
@VNMs, no. They are server side and you can't see them unless they are popped already.

Could someone resolve a dispute that's currently going on in my social ls in regards to the conditions required to access the Roundel Earring BC.

Did they actually change it so that you need to hold all zones plus Castle O, as the one person is saying? Or is it just broken right now because people have been spamming it?

From what I remember about the Sandy one at 75 you had to control all zones, controlling only the zone the BC is held in was not enough. If it was a ninja patch it was before level cap raise.
