undying would probably beat SS/RR since you can only crit the first hit. Maybe even if you only get 1 crit.

Wonder how taki:kagero would do... slightly better atma selection lower stat mods. Rlb is a hybrid right?

It definitely was some DA or TA but I doubt it was a force crit. Don't forget Innin also it should give 30%damage bonus just after activation if you hit from behind.

Best Atma for this might be beyond, undying, apocalypse.

It's nothing surprising really. All hybrid WS has that potential. I even recall some SS of non brew 2xTA jinpu doing 9k.

10% katana should be better too I think ( if using Apoc ) well and Shamo offhand if you have it.

I would assume that you stand just inside of range with your Auto just outside and wait.

Question: With 4-5 people, How many Chloris Buds should we be getting per night assuming 3-4 hour runs? We're trying to figure out how we want to go about it. We can't really figure out if we wanna Cleave or NM Farm. Nobody is actively working on Glavoid, though I'm taking the Shells in case I ever feel like making Ukon. So far, things aren't going so well... Some nights we don't even get around to Chloris...

Advice I'm looking for includes stuff like: Should we kill Chloris as we finish pops, or should we finish several sets and do them in a row?

If we Cleave, should we build Azure on the cleaver and do time at the same time, or should we have someone else build Azure and keep everyone's time up so the Cleaver gets mostly Gold?

I have plenty of ideas regarding the subject, but I figured I should ask the people who've already been there and done that.

You have to tell us what those 4-5 people have. Ideally, you want BLU THF WAR NIN WHM. Have the THF and BLU build amber fast (Faster if one scouts while the other fights; or, just have on get pearl and another get amber). Everyone zone in with NQ (Not NM dropped items) pop items.

NIN + WAR + WHM > NMs
THF + BLU > Amber + Pearl > Start the cleave

Finishing several sets is ideal, but if you're at the point of 1/4 KI becoming repeats no one can use, start using pops or focus on completing the closest set.

Well, the jobs are sub-optimal

BLU, WHM, BLM, PLD, (RDM with shitty gear)(NIN in progress)
MNK, BLM, WAR, NIN, (WHM, RDM, Kinda)

Then we have 3 guys that recently came back to the game and don't have all their Atmas/Abyssites, and few +1/2s (Hopefully the important Abyssites and Atmas will be done tomorrow)

DRK, THF, BLM (WAR in progress)
RNG, DNC, SAM, (BRD?)
DRG, RDM (COR?)

I think they have some other jobs scattered between them, but no real "Abyssea jobs". First jobs listed are our "main" jobs and the ones that we're most interested in improving (And are likely to be the first job we get Empy for). Me and the other top guy have been in Abyssea a while and have all our Atmas and Abyssites and a few full +2 sets each.

Unfortunately, a couple of these new guys are very adverse to playing mage jobs, but their DD/Tank jobs aren't up to standard yet so it's hard to sufficiently fill out the necessary roles. Another problem is that they want all the shiny gear first without taking the steps in between such as Abyssites, Atmas, and Magian trials.

I have an old mule that I completely forgot the password too (it's still 4 letters lol). I need to get a SE account, change it to a longer password and all that good junk. I've tried calling SE but 1-2hour waiting on hold annoyed the hell out of me and I gave up for a long while. Is there someway to find my old password in my ffxi folders on that pc and just bypass having to deal with SE customer support?

Cleaving is better if you're working on an Ukon/Vere at the same time and in 3-4 hours you should have x pop sets for each of them done/nearly done. Like said previously, if you start needing 1 KI here, another 2 on a different char, that's the point you go and target those specific NM's to get them done.

The number of buds you'd get in 3-4 hours a night is dependent on number of dicks in the zone that you spend 2 hours fucking with and how much Chloris puts out. Farming 5 pops and killing them before leaving is an easy enough task.

Attempting to obtain the destrier beret through registering the code obtained when i made the abyssea collection purchase. This is only done through the Squenix account management system, but i cannot find where to put the code in. Anyone have any insight on how to do this?

We've been Canyon farming a few times this week with great success. We face camp Adze/Chuk/Min in small groups while building lights. We send a single person to go start farming pop items, like elf,bats,cocks etc. Keep killing mobs for time/KI chest and collecting pop items until everyone is capped on time Pop NMs. Once time pop NMs are done start popping the item NMs to complete sets. You'll get plenty of KIs from chest/time as long as everyone keeps killing NQ mobs between pops. If you buy pops items off the AH it would be even faster.

41 in gear minimum during TP phase. More means you can use less in your WS set. 50 during TP and you would need 4-5 for WS.

-Click "Select Service"
-Click "PlayOnline/Final Fantasy XI"
-Click "Add a service account"

From there just input the code. If you have more then one FFXI account tied into your SE account, it'll ask which account you want to redeem the beret onto.

Dual box question 362963:

Anyone dualbox with a ps2 controller on PC (an actual ps2 controller not a 3rd party usb thing)? My controller gets confused on which window to be controlling once two instances of windower are open, and there's no reliable way for me to make it do one or the other, which ends up with me clicking on and off the window until it decides to switch, which can take time and is frustrating. If there's some easy way to fix without switching to a 360 controller or keyboard controls I'd love to know what it is.

The window in focus always gets the controller input, and the window out of focus always doesn't. When I load up the second instance, it defaults to having pressed "up" for some reason and will just keep scrolling randomly until I alt tab back and forth, but otherwise I have no issues with the second window receiving any kind of commands.

That happens to me as well most of the time when I switch windows, except it seems to be whatever command I last entered (Will spam direction, movement, camera, X button, etc.) and that's also kinda detrimental to play.

I have two different windower folders setup (is there an easier way to have different init settings?), I wonder if that's causing it. I seem to remember a looooong time ago I dualboxed someone for a day and I could alt+tab and control whichever had focus, but I wasn't sure if I got lucky then or was remembering incorrectly.
