Anyone dualbox with a ps2 controller on PC (an actual ps2 controller not a 3rd party usb thing)? My controller gets confused on which window to be controlling once two instances of windower are open, and there's no reliable way for me to make it do one or the other, which ends up with me clicking on and off the window until it decides to switch, which can take time and is frustrating. If there's some easy way to fix without switching to a 360 controller or keyboard controls I'd love to know what it is.

I run two chars with ps3 controller and keyboard but I run one on PC and one on ps3 so I don't have to tab

Question: With 4-5 people, How many Chloris Buds should we be getting per night assuming 3-4 hour runs?

I helped a friend with chloris half a year ago. We went THF WHM NIN and just fought the NMs for pop sets. It took us between three and four hours to build three sets. My experience has been that no matter how many sets you're building, if you're fighting the NMs it's going to take about four hours to finish them.

That happens to me as well most of the time when I switch windows, except it seems to be whatever command I last entered (Will spam direction, movement, camera, X button, etc.) and that's also kinda detrimental to play.

I have two different windower folders setup (is there an easier way to have different init settings?), I wonder if that's causing it. I seem to remember a looooong time ago I dualboxed someone for a day and I could alt+tab and control whichever had focus, but I wasn't sure if I got lucky then or was remembering incorrectly.

I hope you figure it out. On my downstairs PC everything works fine and I control the character on display. On my upstairs PC I have the same issue you are having where it likes to choose on its own which character the controller is moving. I use one folder for all my Windower files on both PCs so thats not the issue.

How long is the repopulate on tier three vnm in heroes zones? Going to do Brd empy and want to spam that stage quickly.

I had this problem when I was trying to run two separate windowers so I could have different settings on each with ease. However I found that the controller would control both simultaneously. By running them both off the same windower I would only have control over the one in focus. As for the spamming some control when you tab over I have to hit the cancel button to stop the menus from scrolling or as byrth mentioned tab back and forth a second time. Minor inconvienence but I got used to it. Some time ago I think I saw some one mention using autoexec being able to change the display settings depending on what character was loaded. But I never got around to setting it up so I have them both loaded with the same settings.

Can set the ini file on launch with -c

launcher.exe -c launcher.ini would run the default settings. Open launcher.ini, edit to offhand settings and save as something like offhand.ini

launcher.exe -c offhand.ini will launch using those.

Depending on competition just use your time making gil then buy the souls (obviously a combination of the two is superior). Inb4 shitstorm about how buying things isn't faster.

I heard about skilling up PUP's magic in beaduex by going to the curse (or was it silence) things around the zone and it suppose to keep removing the curse affect. How exactly do you get this to work?

Attack a mob (easiest is pugil) and deploy your automaton. Then move the mob out of its melee range. The automaton will only run in once it runs out of MP. Also, the automaton doesn't get cursed.

In what way does Double Attack gear affect OAT weapons, specifically Magian OAT weapons. Is it a straight addition to the OAT rate? Say 40% OAT rate add on +10% DA= 50% chance to attack twice per round? Or is it multiplicative or otherwise?

OAT and DA are calculated separately, afaik. DA is reduced in terms of effectiveness when using OAT weapons.

Two separate steps. Quad > triple > double > OaT. So with 10% DA and 40% OaT you end up with 10 double attack rounds and 36 OaT rounds out of 100 attack rounds.

It definitely was some DA or TA but I doubt it was a force crit. Don't forget Innin also it should give 30%damage bonus just after activation if you hit from behind.

It's nothing surprising really. All hybrid WS has that potential. I even recall some SS of non brew 2xTA jinpu doing 9k.

10% katana should be better too I think ( if using Apoc ) well and Shamo offhand if you have it.

Been talking to him. He was NIN/WAR with tpbonus katana. Smitting/beyond/ultimate. Used Innin and fought behind. Said some got resisted and usually took 3-4 WSs to kill Apa. So yeah the 60k was DA/TA and not consistent like Sanguine/WF spam.

Augur's is (was?) basically dead even with Teal and was the best potency enfeebling body available til AF3+2 came out, so for a while it was inv+1 for those without a better nuking body.

ok question, i've had 2 pol id's for quite some time, last year i quit before i bought any abyssea or the last moogle's expansion
on the SE site, i have everything registered, and it states i have the ps2 version
now if i buy the ultimate collection from amazon as digital download, and use my old pol id, how do i register the expansions i didn't already have registered?
