Does HQ/NQ affect synergy augments?
Does HQ/NQ affect synergy augments?
Max augments, yes.
Just did a set today after asking here, went fine. Did it PLD(almace/ochain) WAR(ukon) WHM BLM and had no issues. WAR did a self SC at 75ish percent and that + the MB left it at around 45%. First attempt at self SC he moved before the 2nd went off, but a very geared solo BLM with convert + Devotion thrown in can ground him solo. Thanks for the tips.
Do you mean synergizing the +1 piece of gear or actually getting an HQ synergy result? If you're talking about HQ synergy result then what I said applies, if you're talking about NQ vs. HQ piece of abjuration equipment then what Yugl and Taint said is true, with a minor amendment to Taint's statement: the max range doesn't just apply to the "HQ augment". For example while the HQ augment on Adaman/Armada Hauberk is DA with a max of 2/3 respectively, the potential Store TP range is also higher on the Armada Hauberk capping at +6 as opposed to Adaman Hauberk's +5.
What would the best CDC build for PLD be inside and outside of abyssea? Or should I be posting this in the "What's better?" thread?
As a trick from old time-y Wyrming, it's easier to make sure you self-skillchain if you pull the Wyrm away from the center and Gravity him before you self-skillchain. He has to walk back to the middle before he can fly, and so if you get your melee to stand a little bit "inside" him, they will always be able to get the skillchain off.
DualBoxing question;
Trying to set it up so that I have blinkmenot loaded and the settings changed for one of my characters only and I'm having a bit of trouble with autoexec. This is my first time playing with autoexec and I would like to try and do some other stuff with it, so I thought this would be a good start.
Spoiler: show
Does the plugin Hidemodels still exist somewhere? A friend gave it to me a long time ago and it was great but I lost it.
Duoing with a RDM in GoV areas, on my PLD, would you say /war or /nin? Since everything is DC-, it's really about better dmg. Does dual wield 2's delay reduction beat berserk?
It's DW III unless your sub's gimp, and yes it does (especially on lowbie shit where attack isn't as useful).
So what's the point of /shout now that /yell is available?
Now 30s since update, but yes. Include the fact that you might need multiple lines.
Damn ninja fixes I can't keep track of them... now if only they would fix azure lore....
I'd rather they "ninja fix" spell/ws lock.
