If you have max tonberry hate then the +5% Crit Rate on Rancor Collar is much more beneficial than an elemental gorget for CDC, inside it will depend on the atmas you use (I use RR/SS/AaO so my crit rate isn't capped).
I did use Twilight Mail for a little while when I got my Almace but I switched to Zahak's fairly recently and I've been getting much more consistant numbers so I've stuck with that, the same also applies for Cuchulain's, it was giving much more consistant numbers than an elemental belt

What's the cap on critical hit rate? If it's 100% then I should be fine. 5% from merits, 30% from RR, 20% from GH, 20% from DEX, 12% from gear if I augment hecatomb legs. So I'll try the set you suggested. Thanks again.

It has it's own .dat, one for main and one for sub.

those 2 melee can pretty much be any job.

Tank it on the side, stun thunder spells. DD+WHM+stunner is all you need. Make sure the stunner is skilled up and takes fast cast/haste atmas.

I'm not sure what you could be doing wrong other than trying to replace a 'sub' .dat with a 'main' .dat.

You have to make sure that you're finding the weapon with the 'sub' slot on the viewer rather than the 'main' slot. Like Draylo said, main and sub use separate .dats.
