Good WS body piece for NIN while I work on Iga seals? (Of course I already have the +2 upgrades, making my lack of seals even more annoying). I don't have Loki's Kaftan yet. I generally TP in AF body, but if there's a better (not a bajillion gil) option, I'm all ears.

Maybe not the answer you'd want to hear but you could always shout for a blue proc mnk, a thf, and a whm/blm and just pay them 500k each for the lokis (which is more than worth it even if you paid 500-750k a person helping; I'm not sure what kind of character access you have but yeah).

Beard is the cheapest, egg is the most expensive. I honestly can't give you numbers outside of that but I've seen 2m as the avg for beards and 4-8m for eggs. Ada path is just all sorts of silly.

edit: ^ purely anecdotal as well. Idk what your server is like but I personally frequently do KS99s for behe for the pop items at my lame ass attempt to get dat ring, so for that I just basically give away BB items. I would be shocked if there wasn't someone on your server that operates similarly to me lol.

My LS is more than equipped to handle Tuurul. It's more that it's just a matter of waiting for others to get their Kaftans first. So shouting and paying others won't be necessary. I just wanted something to fill in until I actually get Loki's.

Unless for some reason your shell is 18 separate people all with a desire for lokis there's no reason you shouldn't get one in an afternoon. 4-6 of them in just an afternoon of camping isn't uncommon (inb4 a chorus of: OBJECTION! I WENT 1/30!). Just get on their ass to do it sooner than later if this is the only thing holding you back.

Thankfully the list isn't that long. I just missed the last Kaftan run, so hopefully we'll be doing one soon. For the time being, most of our group time is taken up with finishing Emp weapons. I'll just sub something else for a week or so.

I paid 1 mil for mine got in about 20 min after going 0/5 or so when I could actually get help and ya know it wasn't being camped and gotten by others. Given how fast I can get 1 mil yeah more than worth it. Think I spent more time trying to get it and failing then it took me to get the gil to buy it lol

been following all the changes for a while and it has come to my attention that being a DD main(always focused on THF) do DEX merits mean a damn thing anymore?( outside abyssea..?)
I know abyssea is all wtf stat+, but considering I enjoy mostly THF and NIN as my jobs, where would this put me?
I know dDEX has a role but considering all changes made with new empyrean equipment and so forth, I'm a little baffled.

Hello. I made a new character not long ago and I'm trying to gear up DRG. As I haven't played a melee since 2006, I've got a lot of questions.

-Assuming /SAM: How much Store TP do I need from gear for a 5hit on a polearm with 507 delay? What about on a 492 delay one?

-Is it worth it to do a 5-hit if I end up 1-2% short of the haste cap or should capping haste always take priority? While doing both would obviously be optimal, I fear I'm going to have to make a decision for now.

-If I'm understanding correctly, Spirit Jump and Soul Jump have a TP return multiplier based on the TP return from a normal hit. Is it worth it to switch to Store TP gear (on the slots that don't have double-attack available) for jumping?

-For my TP back piece, assuming I'm not at the haste cap: Atheling's or Lancer's pelerine?

-I'm working on the OAT polearm right now, but the blob items are going to take a while. Any magian weapons that are better than the polearm from Empousa?

-Merits: The character is a mithra who is going to play healer or support in most group settings, so DRG gets to take the attribute merits. Merit DEX or STR?

@Second: 25% haste and 5 hit>6 hit and 26% haste. At high haste situations, however, try to get 25% and not 24%

There are a few but probably not worth it. Just work on OAT lance and use Vogiers for now.

Str. In Abyssea you should have capped dDex, and str is the mod on Drakesbane.

trying to learn Frenetic Rip and wanting to ask if anyone has any tips on learning it? I know the basics, need to do critical dmg when it pulls out horn but wanted tips if anyone has any.
