So I made a theoretical near optimal (haven't fully mathed it out but looks like best stuff) build for thermal pulse... as a taru with a couple of int merits and setting spells for it it would put me at 116 vit 109 int and 67 MAB /rdm outside with no buffs on

So with both fire atmas ultimate vulcan staff and say +60 to all stats from cruor buffs on a mob with 70int should do about 5.1k dmg. Throw in sound blast and enervation and get it to 5.7k. Far from near perfect whisker builds but should still be able to 1 shot most things.

That being said getting the atmas for CW and making an ok build that does just as much might be a tad faster than making a perfect thermal build

Edit: totally forget mori. Should bump it to like 6.2k.

Edit 2: I think I was being indecesive about body and ended up just forgetting one lol. Probably do morri though so probably another hundred or 2. Almost want to go test this out now lol

Two parts

1. What can I do to increase the frame rate other than upgrading my hardware? (doing stuff in the registry, other settings, etc)

You can probably jack the game resolution down to 800x600 or somesuch. It'll look like shit, but it should be pretty fast.

2. Anyone know how to map a 360 controller to the game?

There's a tool in one of the folders that let's you set buttons, but if you want the trigger buttons to work you'll need a hacked xbox360 controller driver. google "XBCD" and that should work. If you're using Vista (dunno about others) you're in for a world of hurt trying to get unsigned drivers to install. Other people have suggested a tool called "xpadder" ( I think that's the name) which basically just runs all the time and converts your trigger presses to mimic keyboard buttons. ( I think that's how it works, I've never used it though).

Since Water Fewell is the cheapest on my server, is there a synergy recipe I can spam and purposely fail over and over again to get me to AT LEAST lvl 60 synergy? Only craft I have is 98 cooking so please keep that in mind. I know ppl say earth fewell is better because you can haste yourself and never have to stop, but I think I'm patient enough to poisona myself a billion times.

EDIT AGAIN: Platinum nuggets looks like a good one, thoughts? How come this isn't goldsmithing requirement?

You are either on, or past CoP 5-2, where you have to give the chips to the NPC to get access to the zone for mission. It's possible you get the same text even after completing quest/mission, because it can be repeated. Not in Jeuno atm, so can't check myself.

I took kirin 50% to 0% with only one add out in the last 7-10%~ just nin whm whm, so that is much more than enough lol. Watch out for uninterrupted stonega > AF though, would suggest keeping hp capped as quickly as possible in the 60-40 range.

My memory on limbus zones is foggy at best but I would imagine SE and SW would be best?

Yeah, had a second WHM and an additional DD, let's say the WHM's weren't really people and that one of the Kirins did just that, GaIV->AF and many deaths were had killing summons and reraping.
