refresh is 25k on odin! Is it super jacked on your server or something? Also, this may have changed or I may be remembering incorrectly, but there used to be moogles that gave a refresh effect if you stood near them I think, specifically thinking of one in kazham (nomad moogle?). Could help you not run out of mps since it sounds like you're not 90 with a shit ton of refresh gear.

Looking for a Kirin strat w/ the following jobs:

Player A: BRD, THF, RNG
Player B: RDM, PLD
Player C: SMN SCH DNC THF DRG
Player D: BLU WAR RDM BLM SAM BRD RNG SMN DNC
Player E: RDM, BLM, NIN

Player B is a returning player so he doesn't have many options yet =/

Doesn't need to be quick just needs to work. I put together a small Sky group with some friends and they wanna try Kirin. I know I should prolly do BRD SMN at the very least but I'm not sure on anything else. What's Kirin's resist rate like for Gravity nowadays? Sorta wanted a back-up kiter in case things get bad... Maybe even -- on the first run -- kite out the 4 summons and then zerg it down w/ Perfect Defense and Soul Voice just to see how it goes.

Any suggestions?

I don't see why that wouldn't work if you SV'ed and the DRG and WAR were strong enough.

Deadly Hold and Astral Flow can still do a lot of damage, plus that setup lacks TH.

that will kill it well before adds; the brd will need to DS curaga, and I wouldnt suggest all being within breath range.

edit: no 2hrs would be needed.

Even just some anecdotal shit would be fine, mostly interested in a rough idea of proc threshold since I'm assuming procrate is at least as good as Shadow items due to more specific conditions + newer/harder to get items (not that this always pans out in FFXI but whatever).

May want to try asking in the neo-dynamis thread. I've seen a lot of talk in there about arch dynamis lord kills, they may not be frequent RQT flyers.

Bit of a noob question. Does magic affinity affect elemental WS?

Unlocked Cataclysm today for brewing on DRG, and my guess is Pluto's Staff would be the best option for it outside of a magian staff?

Also, fuck staff skillup.

Usually Martial Staff if drg can use, but pluto's is 2nd.
