Once in a while I hear people talking about adjustments to the difficulty of obtaining mythics yet no one can seem to produce a link to it. Anyone know if it's true?
Decent WHM xml? Saw someone asked recently in the Spellcast thread with no response, and didn't want to bump it for no good reason.
Best Jishnu hands until i can get my hands on Hachiryu kote?
I'm trying to solo mission 2-3 in the Pho. aquaducts. Is there a trick to clicking on both oil lamps by myself or do I need to find someone else to help me?
Anyone have any approximate numbers for the following Brew'ed WS's assuming correct Atmas choices:
Flash Nova
Tachi: Koki
Tachi: Jinpu
Aeolian Edge
Cataclysm?
Or any other strong ones besides Wildfire, Cloudsplitter, Primal Rend and Sanguine Blade?
Isn't his question. To answer the question: yes its possible with the use of meds but you still could get screwed by a bad round of mute > tornado II (which will kill you with even with a capped mdt set, maybe you could swing it using certain atmas but I doubt it). But valisk is right, this isn't an avenue you probably want to go down solo.
I believe that rng af3+2 hands are considered good for jishnus due to the large amounts of str and the archery skill making them especially good outside abyssea. Inside I'm not sure whats any good besides hachiryu kote
Are Zanshin merits worth using over Meditate recast?
I remember seeing a post a while ago about brewing apademaks for horns using sanguine blade and being able to get about 5 to 6 in per brew.
Was curious to ideal job/gear and mainly atmas to use. Have pld, war, nin thf cor and drk.
Sanguine Blade: Cosmos, Banisher, Ultimate
You'll do roughly 32000 per hit, three shot him. You should be able to get 6 easily, and possibly squeeze in a seventh.
You have COR though, if you have Wildfire, it's better because it can skillchain Darkness on itself (Sanguine Blade has no SC properties).
Unfortunately I never play cor so no wildfire, does gear matter? Like should I load up any MAB gear I have laying around, and for weapon im assuming a +tp bonus sword? Never really brewed much except a shin back when it first came out.
I used NIN, Innin, Gambir, same atmas, and was able to 2shot.
Wasn't aware Innin even applied to Sanguine Blade, interesting. Really not sure why I assumed it wouldn't, guess I just wasn't thinking.
I suppose if you can push your dmg to two shot him with MAB gear, do it, but I don't think it'll matter. For reference, I three shotted him naked.
That being said, a TP Bonus sword doesn't really matter. If I recall correctly, Sanguine Blade's TP only increases the amount you drain back, which is irrelevant.
Be aware you need a stunner at start or risk eating a Fulmination which will suck up your brew time. He also has EnStun, so be aware of it.
We had a BLM stun at start, I ran behind, SB'ed twice, and had a Ukon WAR there to smash it just incase. Only MAB gear I wore was MAB earring x2. Helps you sneak out a couple extra Apa's, which can add up. We had 7-8 people there each time. So being able to do 8-9 was necessary, as to not waste a brew on 3-4.
MAB gear doesn't do a whole lot during brew even drinks don't add alot. Approximate dmgs are hard to calculate since nms are weird with magic dmg in there. Gear that will make a difference is elemental belt/gorget (unless you doing sanguine blade). Day/weather gear. tp bonus on ws that actually gain dmg with tp. +ws dmg gear if you can get any. Or traits that do so. Like for example af3 bst body adds + % dmg dealt based on killer effects.
Other good dmg ws are herculian, and both range mythic ws.
I'm currently trying to mess with hybrids under forced conditions such as forcing crits, forcing double/triple attack and/or adding base dmg via sata. But you might not always have that available. Seems like it has a bit of potential. Though obviously setting up and waiting on timers is kinda ewww.
Speaking of which that's part of the reason I prefer wildfire. Not just because it does so much dmg or that I can throw in some tp rq via bounty shot between ws assuming I don't one shot but because there is no running up to the mob or real positioning like using stuff that needs to be behind on. Just get within ranged ws range and fire away. Saves a tad bit of time normally. But on mosts like apa where you might get stunned well assuming you 2 shot it kinda takes that chance away.
Where's the best place to get Utsusemi: NI outside of buying it?
