Nameless posted some JP info here a few weeks back that claimed Hi had a 15% critrate bonus at 100 TP and 20% at 200 TP with it scaling every 20% TP in between, if I remember right.

So I won rank 3 and was thiniking of getting Hachiryu pants for my Vere mnk. I have all other jobs listed on it as well but not sure if its good for any of those jobs. Would it be worth getting if I don't have (not sure how good they are outside of abyssea for smite or of I should try and augment my byakkos)?

Only other thing that seems great is roundal due to how rare the BCNM is.

If that's so then the crit rate would be just over 1% for Hi. I believe the crit rate bonus is not the same for all of the empyrean WS. I think Ukko's has a base of something like 30% at 100TP if I'm not mistaken? I can't remember what Smite has for crit rate bonuses nor do I remember the other tiers for Ukko's.

This is just for discussion. JP are testing blade Hi's fixed critical hit rate, and it seems to be 15% @ 100% tp, 20% @ 200% tp, and 25% @ 300% tp. Here is the link to their discussion. I can only read some, but it seems like a lot of them are coming up with similar results.

Came back to the game a couple weeks ago. Been doing what I can solo to get my blu in decent shape since then, along with tagging along for some boss kills. Any casual (read: doing stuff on a whim, not schedule/point based. Can't really commit to a set schedule atm) shells out there with room for me?

When I mathed it out, the bonus for Hachi Pants vs Usukane pants wasn't SUPER high, though obviously they were better.

That said, it's up to you. I'd be torn as far as what to get as well, but for pure resale (at least on my server) I think Hachi pants will net you the most gil. I've been reluctant to continue ZNM stuff just due to the fact that as we progress to 99, there will likely be better stuff that comes out.

Yeah, Usukane is what I use right now. I never see hachi pants for sell on Sylph so im sure they could go for a good bit of gil. Ive been sitting on my T4 cerb pop forever but I guess I could just get them and if I get lucky when I finally do it, sell the other pair.

Nothing else seemed that impressive. V body and N body are nice but I dont really see a use for the N body (maybe the abosrb dmg).

So we're working with a fresh install of XI, we installed the newest windower (3.431) and inside are using /console exec THF_TP.txt . Inside the scipts folder in the Windower folder is a file called THF_TP.txt, however when we use the macro it says "Could not execute1 THF_TP.txt - File was not found -2"

Any Ideas?

Nocturnus Mail is a nifty MDT piece since you can cap without it, basically a second Shadow Ring. Valhalla obviously not so awesome with Grim out now.

Unless you already have items on the old toon how is this a problem?
1) Get old and new toons to the zone.
2) Get friends
3) Trade Orb to start BCNM
4) Let friends kill while you log new toon in to lot.

My ears actually hurt from reading something online.

Anyone got experience brewing Pantokrator? Any particular elements do well? Have access to most of the best elemental WSs

The problem with panto is that in one position he has mdt and the other he has pdt. So if he's in the mdt position you're better off eviscerationing. The big thing to look out for is forcing him into chainspell - you can't damage him during this since he just absorbs everything.

In retrospect, wait to pop your brew until he's in two legged mode - this way he'll do hundred fists and have pdt (so you can aeolian).

If you're smart about it, brewing panto is easy. If you're dumb... you're going to die/fail feeling like a complete moron. The biggest tip I can give you is to not force him into chainspell (heal him during casting) - this can lead to a very quick alliance death.

Something most people dont realize also is you can only proc red/blu while hes standing up. So if this is your first time doing, might want to keep that in mind also

Sounds like a barrel of laughs. I plan on playing MNK more than likely for blunt procs, so more than likely Cataclysm if melee damage mode is a complete no-go. So does it go into 2 hours if you heal it while casting/TP?
