You're implying some kind of parsing would indicate anything about a jobs ability to do anything except fight that mob. Even then, it's not a very effective measurement, since parsing a mob is dependent on engage times, how quickly you ws, and fights not being generally long enough to get a good sample size resulting in a significant margin of error even in ideal cases.

(PS rani gains damage resistance over time as well as absorbs damage and raja can strip your subjob, so neither is particularly good even if what you're trying to do made any sense.)

True true just looking for a high level mob that maybe in this game doesn't exist that melee are on a equal footing against period. Rani and Raja just popped in my head to be honest...

They're both goofy mobs with gimmicky mechanics. Orthrus is the closest you're going to come to an unbiased monster in Abyssea, and you'd need equal support for the two melee.

I don't imagine a properly positioned Khimmy or a butt tanked Alfard would be too bad either, just need to keep people alive etc.

15k exp, 5k IS per besieged. Not sure if killing the boss matters (medusa/etc), but that's what I've gotten for 4 besieges now.

Best non-almace sword for a PLD playing it until they do Almace+Ochain (future upgrades)?

Currently have joy/enlight sword from bennu. Also on cactuars for PDT, but unless something has changed this would be fairly silly yea?

Honorbound is about as good as it gets until almace for pld. The enhances enlight raises cap by 10-20 dmg and the divine skill on it will help holy dmg atm. The pdt sword im sure will still have its place eventually even if you have almace. but no telling until they release future content.

by easily do you mean clear the entire zone or just going for specific NM's?

Been thinking about doing this same set up my self, the items im going after are Usukane body and feet > and morrigan body for wife.
I know they are mostly useless but nostalgia i guess.
Are those 3 items attainable by the set up posted above? or do i have to go and get a vere for my monk? (ninja has kannagi)

My answer was a little vague, but yes NIN THF WHM should have no problem doing a full clear and the boss in any of the 4 zones, especially with Kannagi.
I'm not sure if you did Salvage at all at 75, but you'll be surprised how easy it is now, you'd have plenty of damage to clear even the 7 minute floor in Arrapago with a well geared NIN and THF
