Would it be worth brewing as Whm? My mule only has Brd and Whm at 90 and I'm looking to brew some things on it. Suggestions on atma and weaponskills?

Yeah, nin did well because its acc was pretty bad, and I had a bard doing march/mambo, probably didn't really need that mambo. Vere mnk should be fine. Yoichi rng should also be ok, but, it might take longer to get it to land. It's not a big deal though, as with fire carol + barfira + suzaku you should be able to resist all of the air attacks without a problem.

It depends on the target. WHM has access to cataclysm (dark based staff), flash nova (light based club) and brd can aeolian edge (wind based dagger).

THere are countless posts in these threads for which atmas are best for brewing on these ws's.

I would have to assume yes, we did a few runs as nin+whm(2boxed me) brd blux2 the 2 blu's took him out of the air so fast it was ridiculous... especially if you even sorta pay attention and do a self skillchain just before he pops into the air.

and yes, his acc is terrible.

Is the VNM system bugged? Or at least the T1 in Abyssea LTP? I tried for over 30 minutes to pop it, and it just kept telling me that the VNM was 1 Yalm away and it would never pop. Called GM, said they found nothing wrong, but will submit a bug report.

It's mostly from memory, but I did Salvage near-nightly for over a year so my memory of it is pretty good. I'll be doing it again this week and will find out how accurate it is.

I think I'm going to battle through and make some level 90 guides for Salvage, after seeing that atrocity posted earlier.

It seems like it's bugged. This happened to me about 2-3 days ago in LTP. I knew something was off after trying to pop one, and always being 1 yalm away no matter what direction.

Is there any thread currently (or recently) about the dynamis procing system? I have done dyna only once since the change but was on RDM and from my basic understanding the majority of procs are JA based. Wold like to educate myself some on it. Thanks in advance.

Has anybody else observed strange behavior on Dawon? I fought it twice just now. The first fight seemed regular enough. It used Perfect Dodge every so often and nothing extraordinary occurred (except for the Black Abysste drop :D) The next fight I did, it didn't use Perfect Dodge once until 20%, then it used it like 5 times in a row resulting in me dieing D:. What the heck.

Under 25% or so it can use Perfect Dodge back to back, as well as Claw Cyclone back to back many times. Sometimes you get lucky and he is easier, but he can be a dick at times. I did notice that the shadowed Dawons love to spam both PD and Claw Cyclone under 20%, alot more compared to non-shadowed ones. Last shadowed one we did, we only got like a 30 second window between PDs the entire last 20% or so. We did it NIN WHM (2boxed) NIN RDM (2boxed) and just put full eva gear on PD and waited it out.

Well, it spams Claw Cyclone while under the effect of Perfect Dodge. That much is very apparent. It just seemed strange to me that it didn't even use Perfect Dodge once until it was at 20%. Then it literally used it again immediately after the previous one had worn off. Back to back, no time to even get a hit in on it. I counted 5 times in my log. The shadowed one I fought before did no such thing. I was progressing slowly (due to it juking my Blade: Hi with random shadows multiple times) and was fighting it for at least 4 minutes during the last 20%. It maybe used Perfect Dodge twice during all of that time.

Also, what's a good low person strategy for Yilbegan? Going to probably quad box it. I'm thinking NIN THF WHM WHM or WHM COR. We don't have BRD.
