Was a game issue. Whatever happened is over now, you can log back in.
Built in support.

Briefly you can set up a text file inside the C:\......\Windows\Scripts (I think it's this folder). Just put "input /command;" at the start. no input, no worky. Use "pause #" (No input) instead of "input /wait 1;" Waits don't work.
Inside your FFXI Macro, you'd use "/console exec Textfilename.txt"
So for example to cast Fire, in the text that you have now titled "Fire"
input /equip main "Fire Staff"
input /ma Fire <t>
Now in your macro
/console exec Fire.txt
I'm sure the wiki has a lot more information than I can simply provide.
Suggestion, put JOB-Desc as the title of your .txt files. It'll help a lot when you're building macros. Your BLM Fire spell may not equip the same gear as your RDM fire spell.
RDM-Fire.txt
BLM-Fire.txt
Or create job directories in your scripts folder instead of having a clusterfuck of text files.
Was reading the magian thread, and can someone explain how blu cleaving for staff trials work? I thought the BLM had to get the killshot.
We manipulated the damage of Charged Whiskers so that the BLU would take the mob to 10% or less. Depending on the mob, we opted to sleep or Ja/Aga III right after. For some mobs, the tweak would be the BLU not using elemental staffs. For other mobs, the tweak would be using BA without Enervation or Mori.
Anyone know if grellow procs effect iratham? Need to get 6 cards for my whm and I honestly don't feel like spamming sobeks, and I forgot to lot them when doing glavoids (-.-;;;. So he seems like a good option (lol). I know things like ovni seem to drop their items a lot with 1 rare and 1 common drop.
Yeah, in my experience they have one major and one minor drop - the minor (virtually) requires yellow. Not sure about Iratham, which one is his "major".
The VNM isn't that bad at all - plus he's not hunted that often. With haidate + war lion + barthundra he was a joke.
I suppose I could do that. See if groups have cards hitting the floor at sobeks too... lol or snatch up some free ones as well as farm time and maybe try to duo cirein on war+whm.
Also, I know there's a giant thread on ffxiah about it, but that was mnk+whm. How is war+whm on dragua (though I suppose I'd have a mnk since my friend needs the scales anyways lol).
Edit: and where do T2 VNMs spawn about in attohwa and miseraux? Never done any VNM there.
I hate dragua, I did just enough to get cards for my nin and called it quits. Theoretically it could work - his accuracy is so high, he spams aoe's, plus he has high regain so I felt like I was war tanking. I'd recommend a second form of stona, even if that's in the form of just a blm/whm. Chances are you won't get petrified (barstonra + barpetra on mages always) but it happens on occasion. You're already bringing a blm and I'd value the /whm stona over /brd extra proc.
Nothing compares to a monk's counter tanking though, I was a Kannagi nin almost perfectly geared but my gimp monk friend made him look like a pussy.
Anyone can elaborate Climactic Flourish to me? Wikia and BGWiki notes confuses me.
So if I do Evisceration with 1 TA proc (both landed) and 5+1(offhand) hits landed, with 5 FM consumed, Climactic Flourish will have force crit 5 out of 8 possible hits? Will stack with the first swing of any Weapon Skills.
If stacked with Weapon Skills, only the first hit will be forced to critical and only one "round" worth of critical hit will be consumed.
Works with any Weapon Skill.
CF only forces the crit on the first hit, what else do you see here?
Then what this sentence means?
Also: What's the difference when it consumes 1,2,3,4, or 5 FM?Consumes all Finishing moves (X) upon usage and forces the first swing of the next X rounds to critical.
Best strategy for low manning Azadaja?
Thanks!
Much better than convoluted description written on wiki.
