Bumping this with a little more info. FFXI was downloaded and installed through steam however when we play it's loaded through windower. All the windower apps run fine, can alt tab, etc. But scripts still don't work saying the file isn't found when its obviously in the Program Files/Windower/scripts/ folder. Really annoying to hit 3 macros to ws on thief, please halp.
If English isn't your first language and the inverted sentence structure was confusing you, I changed it to this:
https://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Climactic_Flourish
I'd personally change the 2nd bullet note to something simpler and not overlapping with the previous statement like:
>When stacked with (physical) weapon skill, there can be only 1 hit maximum to be forced critical.
So the redundant (IMO) lines:
Works on the first hit of any Weapon Skills
and
Works with any Weapon Skill.
can be thrown out.
And 4th bullet should be written:
>Climactic Flourish and Striking Flourish are mutually exclusive, so the two cannot be combined.
Okay, changed it.
What dom ops weapon vendors for the highest?
Polearms iirc.
Bounty Sickle.
Has somebody tested this? How does it "enhance" drain & aspir and how does it compare to Pluto's Staff?
Is it good for something else than npcing?
Just out of curiosity for not knowing for 3 years, what the hell do those bars above/below campaign regions when you highlight them symbolize?
Has anyone skilled up Repair Furnace or know how much more it repairs if you had it capped?
I did and the difference is rather noticeable. Hard to really quantify though
Can someone with Iga Tekko +1/2 please confirm the damage bonus on them? is it 3/5% or 5/10%?
jailer of fortitude soloable? by THF maybe?
I know COR was able to at 75. Any job that could kite it away from its adds and DOT it. Not sure about how but I assume the same, just kite it, lose adds then solo.
It was always soloable by a mage/nin kiting it. I don't know if a thf could manage, vorpal blade ignores shadows and hits hard. Even with capped evasion you'll eventually end up getting hit with it. Something with the ability to heal should be fine though, like blu or dnc or nin/dnc.
oh I didn't know vorpal blade ignored shadows. That puts a damper on things.
For Kannagi: AGI Sekka +2 or Kamome? (Inside & outside of abyssea) Finished my kannagi last night but seems like every thread i read people were bashing one of those weapons, and flaunting the other and vice versa.
Edit: sorry had both threads open posted in wrong one .-.
I don't remember Vorpal Blade ignoring shadows the last time I fought it. NIN/RDM can raid it hard though. Train it somewhere to deaggro the helpers and then use the San wheel on it. It's a bit rough on shadows because it will reflect every spell it casts at you, but it's insanely better and faster than meleeing it (I think my last fight time was somewhere around 10 minutes? Not 100% sure.)
