Does any atma boost physical BLU spells, or does RR and such already boost them?

If you're going to rely on physical spells, the best you can do is choose atmas with stat bonuses for given spells. So like, gnarled horn (agi) for benthic and VV (str) for quadratic. I'm sure a real blue mage can give you good atma combos.

Ah ok, was mainly wondering cause sometimes I'd use dd atmas and sometimes I'd use non dd atmas and never noticed much of a difference which made me , Thanks

Well since alot of your base dmg comes from blue magic skill and because your DD spells have stat mods all over the place you wont see as big a difference using atmas for stats as most DDs would. So it kinda skews selection torwards things that will up your dps when you aren't casting and/or refresh to let you cast more. VV is always nice too since DA helps your dps regain lets you maybe even get a ws off sometimes and the str will help all spell if only by raising blu att.

Personally I'd just get CDC. Or even set yourself up for vorpal blade until then

If you are only doing 8-9k edge on trash mobs with a brew on, something is very wrong.

Well since the cat is out of the bag, only works on aeolian edge and it doesn't wear on first ws. Also it's dmg% + as it stacks with brew. (99,999 on trash mobs at least) Surprised this took so long to be posted lol.
edit: was pretty hilarious when I was dicking around cleaving on PLD and randomly did a 6k edge on frogs, thought I accidently hit brew or something and couldn't figure out what happened til hours later lol.

Nowadays whats the best tier1/tier2 merits for mnk, and best merits for nin duoing/soloing in abyssea

NIN: Subtle Blow 5/5, spend the rest however you feel like. I maxed Raiton, Hyoton is a common choice.
G2: NTE is honestly the most useful thing there for the most part, throw the rest in San nukes as you see fit. If you use NIN for Voidwatch at all, unlock all the San nukes for procing.

MNK: KA 5/5 Counter 5/5, Penance 5/5 Invigorate 4/5 Formless Strikes 1/5 is still the standard setup for G2 I think.

BLM can get all the stat ones easily, I'm always doing those instead of the eye so can't speak to difficulty there. Stats 1.5, Eye ?

There is another book at H-10 - get sneak from the book at the initial drop, then remain locked on the book (same as locking brew) at H-10 so the lvl90+ stuff there doesn't eat you.

Do demon rings in tahrongi really go up to +3? I've only seen +2's, like 5 of them so far, guess good for quick draw, maybe wildfire. Fuck this shit sucks.

(At least I'm almost halfway done with my ukon and vereth, in just 2 days, this shit is a lot easier than I expected, should have done it sooner)

edit: And how high do the wivre gorgets go? I've only seen like.. 1 or 2 with crit hit rate+1, no +2's, although I did get a crit hit rate+2 subtleblow+3 one a looooooong time ago. Is there even any point to these at all anymore? Lol

so assuming you're not a masochist, i'd recommend SSR.

hammerblow > powderkeg > ggx3 > cc is guaranteed 4 coinpurses. recommend killing the boss for a shot at linen purse as well (assuming you're not soloing... don't bother w/ boss if soloing)

our run monday netted us 80ish alex before a linen purse gave us another 84.
