Thf merits: 5/5 Triple Attack, then do whatever you want. 5/5 ta, 5/5sa, 2/5 sata, 5/5 flee. For group two I recommend 5/5 feint, at least 1/5 aura steal, 0/5 ambush, and then whatever you want.

As people move away from abyssea and accuracy becomes more important again, then ambush actually becomes more worthwhile. It just let's you drop acc from your SAWS sets and half the time regular WS sets.

Is also the argument for Ass Charge merits (after 5 feint and 1 aura steal) for hard evasive stuff you only run into SA/TA/WS on as SA and TA garantee 100% acc on DA/TA procs (not on WS though).

Edit: not saying you should do either of those, but they are points to concider.

Haste and the recast reduction from Fast Cast only work if left on at the end of casting. Actual casting time requires Fast Cast to be placed precast.

Dunno why no one corrected this, but Fast Cast only needs to be on at the beginning of a spell. Everything else needs to be on when it goes off.

That's... what I said? Precast in Fast Cast for casting time reduction, but to gain the recast reduction it must be left on.

I'd recommend finding a standalone program though, curebots are amazing and more or less necessary if you ever want to expand to bigger and brighter things (more than two accounts). I can talk with you in PM if you care.

With the changes to Thief "proc'ing" treasure hunter now, is Treasure Hunter on the mob even before the thief gets the message? I realize SE has stated in the past that the Thief "just has to be in the party" or w.e. but is Treasure Hunter now a "landed effect?" IE if I don't see my proc message, does the mob have "any" TH on it? Any tests done on this? Thanks in advance.

If I remember correctly, SE answered this clearly, but I can't find the link/explanation at this moment. TH is applied once the thief is on the hate list for the mob, but there is no proc message. Each time TH goes up, there will be a proc message. You can not lose a level of TH, so hitting it with full TH gear and switching to DD gear is fine, and AF3+2 gloves increase the rate of TH increases. (If you believe the testing).

Eh, I'd say it's more along the lines of TH is applied as soon as the THF does some sort of action towards the mob. Curing someone would put you on the hate list, but I don't think that would actually apply TH on it. Could easily be tested if anyone cares enough to do so.

The proc message is only for TH+1.

If after only amber, Mnk cataclysm kill bhumi. If azure, ask a friend to kill bats or something. Vnms for pearl. Find around vc 2 a lot.
