Is it normal for your cruor to drop 200k every time you enter Abyssea (without buying another brew--but have one in inventory)?
Is it normal for your cruor to drop 200k every time you enter Abyssea (without buying another brew--but have one in inventory)?
By normal, I mean: is it a known glitch at the moment (how it's working atm)? If it is, I didn't know. If it isn't, is it just me?
I'm not high D:
Is there a guide around that explains exactly what the mechanics of Jug Pets are?
I just got BST to 90, and my pets are getting absolutely slaughtered. Yuly takes 400+ damage from Abyssea NMs currently (pre ducal guard).'
Is this just because I don't have a -PDT build for pets? Or is there something else to this?
Lastly, is there a list of all the pet -PDT gear out there? I know about the trial axes, but I can't find much else.
The quick and primary gear is the expansion helm (10%). Double axes and Ducal Guard.
Can also add in AF+1 legs and that pretty much puts you at PDT cap.
Level 78's Stout Servant is a -9% DT. AF+1 makes it 11%
Helm+Axes+SS+DG is definitely cap. Getting all the smaller 2-3% pieces are just stuff for outside.
Cap is 87.5% if you didn't know.
Edit:
And yes, it's because you don't have a PDT set that your pets are dying so fast. When we first hit 90, we started doing the DG quest and the Pot NM in Grauberg was raping our pets. We kited it between pets. After we had our PDT+DG, we went back and killed it with zero problems. Just remember that for DG to take affect, the pet's HP already has to be below 50%. If it's at 51%, it's going to take full damage which in some cases has "one shot" our pets whereas it would have been laughable damage otherwise.
Edit 2:
I just remembered this thread:
http://www.bluegartr.com/threads/103...-effectiveness
Only worthwhile testing would be with only using Trick Attack with AF3 gloves, and swapping other gear to offset the +Str and +Att. People assume the increased chance of level up is simply because they are wearing the gloves, and not because the gloves add extra damage. There's a strong possibility that chance of TH level up rises with increased damage. Thus AF3 gloves could increase chance on SA and AF1+1 gloves could increase chance on TA. Fairly irrelevent as you should be using them even if they didn't increase the chance of TH level up.
Best thing to npc with Dominion notes?
Is version update on July 26th a major update or just a minor update?
I'd personally go with twilight/triplus until a fire kila is obtained. Angr harpe is also an okay mainhand until fire kila.TY! Would twilight or angr harpe be decent mhs or oh daggers if no str kila? I don't plan on 100%ing my thf, just slightly above average/good daggers and not top of the line.
Eva daggers are pretty much worthless. Thf, and even dancer, have enough evasion to cap without needing to use them. If you want a defensive build you might as well go PDT-10% daggers.Eva dagger would likekly be better though and take all of a day to finish.
Actually there are quite a few things I wouldn't cap on thf without either using evasion dagger or losing some haste, da, or tp. Though I've yet to see anythign that required 2 evasion daggers.
Also outside of abyssea where you are tping in like 120 less agi you have ALOT less evasion lol
Is the order of operations when using both fast cast and casting time -% known?
Well, on playonline it says:
We will be conducting a version update in conjunction with the transfer of PlayOnline IDs to the Square Enix Account system which is planned to take place from Jul. 25, 2011 20:00 to Jul. 26, 2011 3:30 (PDT).
The version update will include changes to the chat command "yell,” along with other fixes. The details of the version update will be announced separately on the day of the maintenance.
Does look like registration server maintenance like you said but seems some other things are being added. Was just confused I guess because its pretty vague.
If you're not going for twash then I guess one could be useful, but when I can go ichi-ichi on stuff in my tp gear then I really can't see a need for them. My thief has at least 456 evasion naked. I'll start parsing everything from now on though, it's possible I could be wrong. That is a pretty broad statement. The main perk to them is being able to swap out other evasion gear that could be used for more beneficial stats. You aren't capped evasion on everything, that isn't true at all.
Are you talking abyssea or outside? cause outside you arent going to evade that well.
Even if you have a twash, its still good offhand if you need the eva for tanking.
That's my evasion outside abyssea with no gear. With a twash, giving up better offhands for the eva offhand is a worse trade off than any extra dd gear it'd let your wear over evasion gear.
Depends, if it lets you trade your off hand but keep capped haste, im sure that would be better.
