What do DRKs without relic/empy/mythics use now in Abyssea? Guillotine is still the best we got? What kind of playstyle is best suited for the job nowadays when being so much inferior to so many other jobs?

Already have a WAR so i wouldn't wanna gimp my own Rampage. Honestly I just miss DRK as it was my first job to 75 (first NA DRK to 75 on Phoenix yayys!) and haven't been playing much to try to build an empyrean GS. Although I hear Caladbolg isn't too hard to farm so maybe if i muster up the motivation, my DRK can get as much play time as my MNK or WAR these days.

You can have the best dressed dark on the planet, but if you got war and mnk until the game gives a reason to play dark again, I wouldn't get your hopes up >.<

How do I get Resistance Credits? I can't solo Bastion at all and no one wants to do it.

I did Bastion solo on whm for credits. Just cure the npcs and cast banishga. Keep up rr in case somehow you die, but I was getting 800-1500 credits for less than 10mins of work in vunkerl.

Only applies when Chain Affinity is in effect.

EDIT: I think maybe Azure Lore too? Dunno.

Azure lore used to basically make them cast as if they were 350%ish iirc but now that it does skillchain/mb they probably took it out.

Also works with efflux however it not using Chain affinity it wont use your tp just some amount from the efflux ja (how much depends on af3 legs and such)

How? Even on mithra with 4 eva merits and 8 agi merits, if eva skill = eva, the most you can have naked is 417.

AF3+2 hands are supposed to increase procs on Sneak Attack by 10%

I wish people would stop saying this. It's irrelevant if they do or not because you should be wearing them for SA regardless. If people keep stating this, then people will mis-read it and start spreading that they increase the rate of procs on normal hits and TA as well.

Seiryu sucked thf+whm duo, but was the only hard one. Suzaku was piss easy. Though I had Shell V and flee'd for a lot of CS.
Seiryu occasionally decides to -aga your shadows, dispel them as you put up :ni again, then breath you and deadly dive in the space of 10 seconds. That was fun. With his stupid regain he can quite easilly still fuck you up at 90, especially solo without a Cure V to fall back on.

Debating which Empyrean I should do first Almace or Twashtar, I use THF and BLU regularly for abyssea although I also do some outside stuff sky, sea, and salvage regularly too. Any pointers where one weapon will outshine others any info appreciated TY!!
