What daggers should I be using on DNC for DDing, assuming no Twashtar? Also what is the best evisceration set for DNC?

It's situational, etc, but 2x STR Kila +2 is likely your best bet outside Abyssea.

Also, "oh no, VTs." Really not that much of an issue for an evasive melee + WHM team. DNC ftw, hiyoooo. Good luck BLUs and WARs.

In short? Your earth resist was to low to make you resist.

And if 1k+ spells are a problem for you then you might need to reconsider farming glavoid at all.

Atma for NIN GH RR Apoc as usual and for WHM MM, whatever, whatever (allure, apoc for me)

i'm not sure what happened but i was getting like 40+ dmg for those spells in the beginning but as fight drags on the damages became more. How long till glavoid rage?

Also, don't use earth resist on him. You can get it high enough to negate his magic, but you're still going to get screwed by Disgorge. As far as dealing with his magic damage, just cast Cure. With proper Refresh Atma a good WHM should have no trouble keeping up. Go WHM/RDM and NIN/THF the first time if you aren't sure.

Use DD Atma (RR/GH/Apoc) and Migawari/Shellra V on the Ninja and turn when the Ninja doesn't have Migawari up. Keep Yurin: Ichi on Glavoid if you can land it. I don't know how responsible it is to Innin tank Glavoid, but I'd bet you can. In the event of an unfortunate one-shot, have the WHM just kite Glavoid while the Ninja reraises, Mijins, and gets back up unweakened.

Below either 50% or 33%, Glavoid's Blood Weapon starts resetting hate along with making him immune to magical or physical damage. Bust out some Futae->Huton: Ni while the WHM kites if he goes physical immune, or just chase it and hit it if he goes magical immune.

Trying to update FFXI since the update yesterday and it keeps telling me it can't find "Final Fantasy XI.msi" Saying the network feature you are using is unavailable. Should I just try later? Also, is Final Fantasy supposed to update in a small little box instead of the old POL viewer update?

edit: Back to normal, but now I get an error when it tries to install "FFXI.dll"

You really thing PDT helps on Disgorge? I remember this move was blocked to 0 when carolls were broken and had 100% activation with af3+2. Aside fromt hsi being broken that would rather suggest its earth magic damage. Maybe its hybrid like some WSs but I would bet its Earth magic breath or earth magic conal aoe.

It's a physical, conal earth-based type move that disperses damage based on number of targets.

And, any decent non-mule WHM should be able to catch a Stun for Disgorge most of the time on the chance that Migawari isn't up. Disgorge is only really threatening the first time it goes off (unless you suck and heal it too much). That said, without a dedicated stun you will likely have to forfeit a few (or flux until weakness wears if nobody is around) due to bad luck.

I do, unless I'm mistaken near any time I get hit with or see Disgorge hit somebody it hits for ~3000, with ~30%PDT I take around 2000-2200. I've also taken a lot less damage using x2 Carol or CarollII+Scherzo but I wasn't paying attention that fight. I just know I wasn't swapping PDT in and I wasn't getting one shotted. I do recall a few 1-1.5k Disgorges though.

Like I said though, I've never been one-shotted by Disgorge except by the random 5-9k ones.

I remember a few years back some guy did a test with Gekko where he was naked with Blind potions and still hit 95% Accuracy. Did anyone ever test if Fudo gets that same Accuracy bonus?

Also, what's considered the best body for Fudo right now (assuming you don't need StoreTP)? Byrnie +1/Twilight Mail/Unkai Domaru +2?

Can anyone explain Walk of Echoes to me? Specifically details on how to duo/solo the items for Empyrean WS weapons. I've been in three times so far trying to figure it out and its acted differently every time and has been a real pain. Specifically a friend and I went in for the first time and killed one crab in Conflux #1 and then where left with nothing to do except try and kill the 4 crab pull on the stairs which we couldn't, but when I went in solo the next day right after killing the first crab two more ran down to the platform for easy killing. Just wondering if I could get a brief breakdown on how this event works.
