Did you have seals? Behe KS99 is a joke with a merited WHM. You can use your chars to beat it rather easily.

Turtle one I needed at least 4x BLM, 1 NIN, 1 WHM to do it. I forced it into shell with a WS, accompanied by a /p macro, which tells all BLM to fire off blizz5 at same time. Usually drives him out of shell and I just repeat till it's dead.

Maybe 3x well geared BLM can do it? Dunno.

The rest is your choice between Fan/NFR/Closed Position. I went with 2/5 Fan Dance and 5/5 Closed Position since I can get 5 finishing moves with NFR -> Presto -> Step.

Friend is having trouble getting "Boy and the Beast" to flag, Claws of the Griffon is in her completed quests, but when she zoned in she must have gotten the CS that finishes Cait Sith, I don't think that would effect anything, though? The NPC won't give her the needed cutscene, and she checked the ??? in Vunkerl Inlet just in case she talked to them before, by accident, no dice. Any idea why?

For some reason I was under the impression that BB item drop rate from KS99 was pretty bad, like 10%. I may be getting this mixed up with HQ drop rate from NQ pops? Either way I think I have about 500 KS, so I can definitely use some orbs but I'll still probably end up buying 1.


edit: wiki has the drop rate at about 25%, which isn't too bad.

How long does Sagheera take to upgrade AF1 now? I know it used to be until next conquest, but my friend got his Salvage boots in a day so I'm wondering if this changed as well.

It's been a long time, but I thought salvage was always the next day after JP midnight and anything turned into Jueno was conquest update.

Conquest update. So you can do it closer to the conquest update if you want to use the NQ piece.

We did it with BLM WHM MNK 13 times in a week. Which is basically overkill already. His magic sounds scary but at 90 gets easily interrupted by normal hits. His accuracy also isn´t great if your job is mildly evasive.

BST & BLUs have solod the BC, maybe more.. PLDs?

Cool, thanks for the info. Did you sleep the adds on BLM and then nuke them down while the MNK killed the main Yagudo? I know that may be a derp question, but I've never done this before so I'm trying to prevent any losses.

The boss is stupid easy to kill. I duo'd it with a WHM/BLM using ES+Sleepga and myself on NIN and the boss would be dead before the adds woke up most of the time. I don't think the BLM should need to worry about killing the adds, if anything a BLM could nuke the boss or Stun his AM after Tabula Rasa (those did do some damage!)

I was in Besieged last night fighting level 8 Troll Mercenaries and after defeating one of the NMs some people were saying that they received some kind of atma. Any idea which one this could have been and why I didn't get the atma? I have never been in Abyssea, but I have flagged the first cutscene and have all of the expansions.

bump just cause I'm curious...are they just fucking with people?

I literally know nothing about abyssea, but I've looked up the various atmas documented on both wikis and I don't see any that could account for this

Though it does mention gaining benefit as if every day is Lightsday... May not be a super boost, but maybe enough? Regarding elemental day bonus: Around what would the day bonus be equivalent to in MAB? If any.

Not quiiiiiite what that means. It's the same text that's on the elemental obis, meaning it gives you boosts on Lightsday or in Light weather. (I'd assume SCH weather counts, since otherwise the weather bonus on an atma would be pointless.) Uh... if I'm reading wiki right, it's a +10% boost on matching day or single weather, probably 20 or 25% for both. Dunno when that hits equivalent, but I think I'd just stick with MAB since otherwise you're restricted to Lightsday.

Also, a little extra advice - I think I'd fight Tauri or Gargouilles for this. Kills should be fairly easy in Abyssea, both are in Vunkerl around flux 4. Should probably fight unlocked since they both have nasty Gaze Attacks, but they're weak to Light, plus you'll get a Monster Correlation bonus from Radiant Breath. (Also, if you're fighting Tauri, you'll probably want to make sure you have a Dispel set, since they have a Shell move that'll drop your magic damage like a rock.) Imps and soulflayers are also SW of the tauri and gargouilles, if you want to try those; they're both demons and will give monster correlation bonus, but the fights aren't quite as fun in my experience, especially since Imps can and will silence you frequently.

Really no reason to have no foot rise 5/5.

Should really get closed 5/5 since it gives both eva and acc and those are going to be even more useful for outside of abyssea type stuff.

NFR should be 2/5 or 3/5
