You can get all the KI for both mobs through gold chest

Best way to go about this is take a group of people, cleave, get KI's, once it gets to the point that people are only missing one or two and KI's are going to waste, go pop the NM's to finish off sets. Chain kill the NM's, then repeat.

Ah, okay. I was looking it up on GamerEscape and they didn't have the Torn Bat Wing from gold chests.

charmer's merlin has the highest non-magian damage, and some nice perks for sic and ready. the fake relic has nice dmg as well, and you should have a glyph axe, even after you do magian trials, because you can swap it on when standing around and your pet is too, and give your pet some free tp.

do the pdt axes, they're super easy (i did two axes - two of the trials allow for overlap, in about 4-5 days... you will love necropolis [s]), and there's an argument to make for pet eva axes as well, tho i haven't done those yet. and when doing the trials on bones, ignore wiki, nazuna is way better than merle.

in terms of essential gear, af3+1/2 legs enhance stout servant, giving your pet an additional -2% dmg taken, and the body is nice for when your killer effects line up (your pet will do more dmg and take less dmg).

other than that, skadi feet are a nice pickup, tho that may not be practical for you, and the bst neck from yaanei is great as well (and 100% drop, so just find friends who want aias bonnets... other groups may just give you it as well).

Oh, I do. I don't trust wiki most of the time which is why I wanted to confirm here.

    About BST:
Ferine Cape is a great piece if you can get it to drop. Definitely try to get Blue proc on the NM.. Fidelity Earring is a nice cheap spot if you're duoing with another BST and you won't be swinging.
AF2 pieces: Gloves are almost a must, boots are a nice addition over AF1 boots, and the body while not necessary is a decent addition too. I don't think the others augmented anything like these did.

Think I need an explanation for this one. Immunity to debuffs 10% of the time compared to 100% SID 25% of the time or Guardian's effect 25% of the time? I went with 5/5 Iron Will, 4/5 Chivalry, 1/5 Fealty.

Should I ever find myself in possession of an Ochain, I'll likely drop Iron Will for Guardian.

Staying with the topic of Cleaving for golds.. what's the strat? I tried it in Misa and it was tough with me and a whm healer sometimes. So I'm kinda lost when people talk aboit solo cleaving lol.

Any advise as to gear/atma combos to make it as efficient as possible?

Depends on more what you're cleaving. If you're WHM is having problems keeping you alive, make smaller pulls to cleave or maybe you just aren't pulling a good mob to cleave. If the mobs are being killed by another group they're going to level up and that's going to make it more difficult. If you have the option, I'd swap to BLU and cleave that way. You can pearl, azure and amber easily and when you start cleaving it will be a snoozefest difficulty-wise.

    What job?
Word "cleaving" carried over on all forms of AoE killing. So solo cleaving is usually relate to jobs like DNC,BLU,PLD,RDM not THF,WAR,NIN,MNK,DRG(tho maybe DRG could make it solo on EP-DC on some low scale with /PLD)

I've increased my ingame resolution to omgpretty but now my menus and chatlog etc. are almost unreadably tiny. Is there a way to make them bigger or will I just have to reduce my resolution? I've already tried altering overlay resolution but it's not doing anything.

Was wondering for any strategies to take down Ironclad Pulverizer and Durrin (for the atmas, came back recently after a year's haitus).

Gonna do a shout group in Jeuno due to no LS and having troubles finding anything specific on what to do with these guys (assuming most people have just basic synthetic atmas).

I was on War at the time. For some reason I wasn't even thinking of dnc rdm or pld for soloing like that. I'd imagine dnc would be the best of those 3? (No interest in leveling/skilling up blu). And for atma, would it be better to buff the damage of AE, or to atma for surviving

Uhhh, I don't know what you're really asking but if its "how do I cleave without dying" you do the following: Get a rdm with /sch or phalanx 2. For most visions mobs grim cuirass suffices with Mounted Champion Razed Ruins and Stronghold to get 0-5 dmg hits from mobs. Pull group > Start FCing. Don't need a whm. As for "solo cleaving" if you're pulling full mob groups repeatedly and leveling them up the only job that can do it is ochain pld afaik, maybe rdm AE but that sounds painfully slow.

Durinn is an easy, straight foward fight. so as long as you understand the trigger system, he will be no problem. If you don't have a set for him you'll likely have a bit of trouble with Dvalinn who absorbs during casting and TP moves.

Iron giant is a little harder, but really only because he hits a lot harder than Durinn and he's harder to trigger on. He'll collapse at some point during the fight and you'll find the head, and then he'll come back together and you'll finish him as the giant. Just stick a couple of good melee on him and make sure the mages keep them topped off on HP if you have little to no Merit Abyssite.

How is BB item drop rate from KS99s?

Secondly, how is Fervor ring drop rate from The Palborough Project?

RDM has lower tier of shield mastery so if you pull a lot of mobs and can survive their attacks then it's not that slow ( you can probably easily break 2k+ AE on 100TP as RDM ). On the other hand you are pretty much limited to MNK type mobs probably if we talking about T-VT (but maybe I am wrong). What I like with Ochain is that I can pull any mobs pretty much even if they are VT. It was really great for farming Sobek for example. One round of all bugards usually gave at least 2 triggers and a chance for more KI from chests. When my friend was doing Minax already I could solo cleave next round of bugard for more triggers and chests. We easily did 12 Sobeks in 5h like that completely ignoring Guku and 40 japs that were camping it ^^.
