There was some rumor started that mobs level up really fast when you AOE them down, but I haven't seen that.

Asked a friend this via /tells last night who was cleaving. The answer was no they do not all level up.

Yeah. I was under this assumption when I made the original post, but was corrected shortly after. I don't read much at all, just kind of do my own thing.

If anything it seems AOEing them makes them lvl up slower and will actually lower there lvl when they are high

Curing waltzes? Only other options I can think of are ASA legs with -cost or things like af+1 which have less chr.

So is the new system when leveling to just hit up Field Manuals and Ground Tome's and repeat the pages? I just came back after quitting a couple years back and I find it kinda boring to just sit there, repeating the same book quest. Plus whenever I /sea all invite theres like no one seeking for regular pts :/ I play on Siren btw

Either way, leveling is still the boring part of this game.

Has there been any good testing on the DRG EMP+2 set bonus proc rate? I can't seem to find any. I think Kirschy tested the DRK set effect. Which could at least give me something to base a value off of. But I'm not certain if that was just defining the effect, or determining the proc rate as well.

Yeah I haven't really been bothered to making ugg pendant/artemis work. Not like it would be hard but meh. And when I lasted worked on this forbane was more than I was willing to pay on it. Ambusher is kinda iffy depending on what atmas you setting.

Could someone with experience brewing Apademak with Wildfire tell me how many pops I can expect to get through with each brew?

Do you two-shot him or does it usually take three shots? Also, is it worth the time it takes to Fire Shot when brewing?

Well brewing wildfire is a bit different. All the agi is worthless and the mab doesn't add much.

I haven't brewed apademak but I haven't seen a mob that takes more than 2 wildfires on my rng except ones you'd never use wildfire anyways because of their fire resistance. Heck used 2 shot shinryu /thf with TH atma lol

Not sure about your setup but I doubt fire shot will change how many wildfires it will take. But not like your doing anything for those couple of seconds between wildfires so can always do one for some epeen dmg I guess.

Never had enough KI holders to just machine gun nms like that but I'd expect at least 8. Kinda depends on how fast you can engage and get facing it and then go back to freezing timers and pass/lotting stuff if you don't quartermaster too

Did you prefer waiting around for invites that never came, standing by while players missing expected Telepoints and/or Outpost Warps ran all the way to your camp, dawdling as reckless idiots waited off weakness in your already slow parties, and whittling away at enemies too high for your level? Don't lie and say it wasn't almost always that way, and be grateful you're getting something during your otherwise idle time.

Wasting time does not equal effort, nor does it require skill. There's nothing wrong with efficiency. You can now party with a small group of friends at virtually any time you want, or solo and be rewarded with the sort of EXP you'd formerly earn in a mediocre party. It's less of a headache, and lets you get to where all of the activity is sooner (e.g., Abyssea).

It writes to the .dat so it does not have to be opened for it to work after you've changed the name.(does require zone if you change the name while you are in the zone).
And obviously you may need to change it after updates and such.
