"Fastest" would be to buy it, most efficient would be WAR THF NIN WHM.

Brewing Glavoid: BLU sanguine blade, or NIN DNC (RDM?) Aeolian Edge? Not really comfortable with multi-popping, so the AoE on AE shouldn't be a factor, just looking for raw damage.

if you buy from multiple sources then they might have had popsets from previous runs and / or Cleaving KI's. Buying CAN be faster might not actually be.

I sell em 55m to 85 and have them done in 3 days while you afk in the zones. That seems fastest to me. Otherwise buy pops and farm KI nms, why is this question still being asked? I think it must have be answered at least 5 times a day.

The only time buying will never be faster is if you're not offering enough to warrant the speed or there are literally 0 competent players interested on your server. I'm sure if I offered 600k a shell in a shout I would more than likely have a significant amount of shells by the end of 1 day. More than I would have if I had spent the time in zone with 4 characters farming sets in all likelihood.

Normally when I sell I run 4-6accnts or outsource to other players to hold a set or 2 for me. I think a rotation of 4 chars (I used nin thf brd whm at the time) for 4 sets took me on avg 2.5-3hrs (obv depending on competition, that number accounts for losing at most like 4 timed NMs). And as to your latter statement, that's the whole appeal and why you pay a fairly high premium for it to be done that way.

noobish question. In chat filters which one is it to un/filter skill chains mainly self, 90% of the time chat log doesnt say my self sc ie darkness, once in a blue moon it shows. Only really see the animation for it.

My NIN xml can be found here. It's more on the fancy side though. I update it periodically, so if you decide to use it you may want to check for a new version every couple weeks or so.

5/5 for shit where some enhancing won't help with resists and mix/match for when it will is an approach I've commonly heard.

Blu merits are kinda weird now that I spam CDC so much though outside spells lose alot less so I'd stick with the CA recast and physical potency for group 1.

Group 2 pretty much always 5/5 assimilation. I haven't used convergence in forever so I got rid of it. Kept 1 in diffusion because it does now and then come in handy then rest in enchainment

This is kind of a shitty question. The fastest won't be the cheapest; it will probably be the farthest from it, as with any craft.

Edit: To elaborate, the cheapest way would be to find a profitable synergy that is 1-5 levels ahead of you and sell off or otherwise use all of your proceeds for profit thus making you money while leveling synergy. This is obviously very time consuming, however. The fastest way would be to find a recipe that is 1-5 levels ahead of you and spam feed fewell until you cap with that synth, not finishing at all so you can reuse the materials. This is obviously losing you cost in fewell only, but is not the cheapest path. The spam-feed fewell path is the most commonly used, though. You don't have to find a recipe close to your level (can spam a level 80 recipe at level 0 if you want) but it will speed up your skill-up rate if you do.
