Water Fewell is cheap as shit. The only way to level synergy is to do Mythril Leaf to 20ish, the Platinum to 70. Can do Plat leaf the whole way if you want. Took me one day to do that, and probably another 12-14h to go 70-80 on stall.

How much Gil did you put into it? I'm about level 15 atm. Been spamming gold leaf with decent success. Are you just feeding water and that's all, or hit up other shit as well like the lever?

I just spammed earth fewell. Chose earth because the slow effect from an earth overload doesn't override haste, hence no status effects. Thwacking will save you a small amount of gil since you can get skillups from it, but in my experience you'll skill up faster by just spamming fewell.

Make your own fewell if possible (Alchemy ~35) and never recharge your furnace from the NPC. Cost me ~200k probably less, to go from 1-70. That's with making my own earth fewell.

This right here is the key, you can HQ the shit out of it even with 60 sub. Paying 20-25k a stack is crazy if you can find anyone who can synth.

Tried looking, so sorry if this has been asked a billion times already buuuuut: Is there a cap on NIN Tool Expertise?
I know the Koga Tekko (Dynamis hands) have it on them (33% or something from what I understand) and can merit it up to 5x for 25%. So would it actually be 58%, or is there a cap?

Like others said, just spam it. You can go ahead and try to do some thwacks if you want, but spamming seems to work better. I spent about 300k but I was buying fewell and earth is expensive (my crafting stall was 99earth)

If my computer is JP, my version of windows is JP, my FFXI is JP, and I am JP, how do I install windower? I was gonna give windower to a JP friend of mine, but they can not use it, it says the language is wrong or unsupported and just refuses to open. Is there a JP version or do they have to install the NA version of FFXI or is there something I am missing?

i have seen no cap. Yonin also gives about 25%. and there is Oirandori (katana with NTE), a belt off an NM in KRT with NTE, and the pants from heroes zones trophies that can get NTE as an augment

This warrants further testing.. Merits, Gosha Sarashi, Koga Tekko, Spry Tights, Yonin, Oirandori, and Black Mantle should give 100% Ninja Tool Expertise. Can you imagine only having 1 universal tool on you and being able to cast everything?
