Saving video clips from the interwebs

I have to do a video project for a Beatles class I'm taking, and I need video clips to put to a few of their songs, but I am not sure how to get them. I could've googled, but there's so many different things that come up that I don't know where to start or what's even good to use.

I'm sure on some sites I can directly save from, but for others...

Any recommendations for programs/methods?

I've used this plugin for firefox for awhile:

It just adds an icon that lets you download videos from off a webpage, if there are multiple videos it will let you select which one to download. Great for downloading videos off youtube.

I also use a firefox plugin but it's ant video. Safari (the web browser) I think lets you dl vids.
