Yeah, someone in my LS was doing Tammuz's and got all 8 before servers went down. They'd be damn pissed if it got rolled back.

Also, the "Resist!" thing that's been in the game forever...did they change it so you get "Resist!" now if you resist a spell without a Job Trait? Heqet cast Addle and I got a "Resist! Evilpaul resists.." message. NIN90/DNC45, so I don't see why?

They removed the text so it wouldn't say "Resist! Soandso etc..."

For example, you could get Resist! message using provoke, or cure as well. Usually after you resist an effect then do a JA/spell immediately after resisting an enemies effect. Considering it's healing magic, they probably broke cure based on that.
